Enjoy this private, quiet, and bright studio apartment in the Hill Section of Burlington. You'll find a sitting/dining area, fully-equipped apartment-sized kitchen, queen-sized bed, bathroom with shower, and off-street parking. Sit out on your own deck in good weather and watch the sunset over Lake Champlain and Adirondacks from inside in the winter. Coffee and tea are provided. Note that we have wifi but no television and there are no cleaning or additional fees.

The space
The well-designed studio is furnished with good-quality linens, has a closet space and luggage rack, a bureau with several drawers, fresh flowers (from my garden in season) shade umbrella on the deck, room-darkening shades and other touches designed to make your stay memorable and comfortable. I have stayed in many AirBNB's and I created this space to meet my preferences and needs as a guest. I provide tea and coffee and don't charge a cleaning fee, for example, because I find added fees frustrating when I am pricing AirBNB's and other vacation rentals. I incorporate those costs into my nightly rate. People who have stayed here have been extremely positive about their time here and have told me that my place is a beautiful, peaceful oasis tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Burlington.

Guest access
The guest house is attached to the main house but entirely separate and can only be accessed through it's own entrance. Guests have their own deck and should feel free to wander around the large yard. I am available to answer questions and provide you with information but you will have complete privacy.

Other things to note
-There is WiFi but no television.
-The refrigerator is an under-the-counter model. It has limited freezer space, just enough for a couple of ice trays and one or maybe two pints of Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

I am a lifelong Vermonter (so far) and love the idea of AirBNB as a way to travel and stay in interesting places. I am retired which gives me flexibility to do the things I love, like gardening, painting, puttering, spending time with family and friends and welcoming guests into my lovely guest house. When I travel, I like clean, simple, gracious surroundings and have tried to provide that for my guests.
