Beautiful flat with white wooden floors all over, on the first floor of a 17th century house in the middle of the old town centre.
Double bedroom and wide living room with double sofa bed.
Nice kitchen and clean, smooth bathroom.
The whole flat is in a minimalistic style enriched with a relaxing reading corner, a friendly succulent plant and a typical atmosphere all around.
Little restaurants are at walking distance and one of the oldest bars in town where local artists meet is only a few steps away.
Being in the middle of the historical centre allows you to have most of the facilities at a short walking distance from the flat:
Groceries can be bought in supermarkets along the same road.
Many little restaurants are scattered all around the historical centre also providing a way of exploring its hidden corners.
The two banks of the town are also at walking distance.
A pharmacy is a few steps away from the house.
Various bars are also a few steps away allowing you to have a nice cappuccino and some tasty pastry for breakfast in the morning.
Bosa is an ideal location to practise various sports:
- Rowing: the local rowing club is always ready to welcome fellow rowers. The club is one of the oldest on the island and holds races involving British and sometimes Irish rowers twice a year (October and February).
- Running: an inspiring course is the one going along the river, then following the seaside, accessing the inner countryside by the famous vineyards of the area and turning back to the town centre (10-15km).
- Swimming: during spring and summertime the various beaches provide a natural setting for this sport. A must is the crossing between the two beaches of Bosa Marina and Turas (1.5km).
- Cycling: once the town centre has been left, there are many roads free of traffic where cyclist can enjoy landscapes hosting fields and fruit trees all around.
- Hiking: walking to the nearby nuraghe towers or along the coast is a unique experience leading to natural gems of unexpected charm.
- Bird-watching: Bosa is one of the last places in Europe where the griffon vulture still lives. This species is protected and through the aid of specialized guides it is possible to witness the prowess of its larger elements.
Bosa is also a well know setting for its white and red wines. Among the whites, the most famous is the Malvasia di Bosa, a dessert, full bodied golden wine awarded with first prizes in national competitions.
soggiorno davvero stupendo ! Lo consiglio a chiunque.
appartamento spazioso ed elegante nella sua semplicità
completo, raffinato, siamo stati benissimo, ottima posizione
The apartment was beautiful and is located on the Main Street of Bosa. Only problem was the heat and noise from the street. There was also a problem with our shower, but that got fixed right away.
Bosa is a beautiful town with a lot of history. This apartment is a great place to stay at when you're planning on visiting it.
I had a great time in Bosa and in Francesco's flat. The town is beautiful with great beaches and places to eat and Francesco's flat is extremely comfortable. Situated in the old town and very spacious, the flat is ideal for a break in Sardinia.
A very nice place to go. The living and bedroom are huge. And we always were lucky to come back after a long day of sightseeing or on the beach. Emanuele ( Francescos brother ) received us. He was very friendly and have us a lot of helpful advices. Bosa is a very beautiful place to see. We enjoyed a lot.
This is the most perfectly located, impeccable flat. I couldn't recommend it more highly!
Just back from a fantastic week staying in Bosa at Francesco's flat. The flat is located in a beautiful street, in the nicest part of Bosa. Flat was spotlessly clean and spacious, and Emanuele (Francesco's Brother) was really friendly and helpful, speaking perfect English. Would highly recommend both the flat and Bosa as an area to stay in. We found amazing beaches near Alghero (Bombarde, perfect clear water) and Arutas (Oristano direction), both of which are about an hours drive but the scenery is so stunning that you almost wish it was longer!
This is a well situated apartment in Bosa. The flat had a great kitchen and the apartment in general was spacious and a pleasure to spend time in. Would recommend.
Francesco is easy and quick to communicate with. His brother, Emanuele, received us warmly and gave us all helpful advice needed. The flat and its location give you the perfect impression of an old town dwelling and Bosa belongs to the pearls of Sardinia. Beware of one thing in the flat if you are taller than 1.73m: mind your head between kitchen and living room.
Francesco (and his brother Emanuele) were amazing hosts. The apartment is the perfect place to stay - a little dark, but lovely. It's a beautiful old place that's been well restored, and in a great spot to explore the town and surrounds. The real treasure in this place though is the the advice they gave us about Bosa - we ate our way through the town's best places and explored spots we would never have found on our own. Francesco and Emanuele left us detailed maps and several fantastic suggestions for beaches, restaurants, cafes … they even introduced us to the star product of their family's winery - a delicious and unique sweet wine (the local specialty). Our only slight problem was that the buses to and from the airport were very irregular and not at convenient times - we ended up taking a taxi so it was a little more expensive than we planned, but not unmanageable. We highly recommend staying here!
