Rented a place from Uwe a year ago and did again niw it was an easy check-in and great experience again. Would book again!
Always a pleasure to stop at Uwe's apartments. This one is really clean and spacious and nicely decorated.
We spent one month in Uwe's room. The room is clean, well maintained and has a fully equipped kitchen. I really love the kitchen! Also there is a free swimming poor for the residents of the building, not very big but clean and quiet.
Location is good, about 15-20 mins walk to the old town. Ningman road is very close, it's a good place to enjoy a cup of coffee or beer. These is a very modern shopping mall only 5 mins walk away, a lot of restaurants, shops, supermarket and a SFX cinema inside it.
Uwe is a nice guy, he reminded us about the arrival information and arranged his staff Nick to wait us when arrival. Nick introduced facilities of the room to us. When we got some small troubles like wifi and power supply problems, he can always response quickly and solved the problems.
I am satisfied with this stay, definitely will come back if have chance.
I stayed at Uwe's apartment for four days in April. The place was just as described and quite comfortable. It was a big bonus to have a kitchen, and everything worked well. The balcony was also a nice touch for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening although it was so hot during my stay that I couldn't sit outside for long during the day.
The location was a bit of a mixed blessing -- Maya mall is nearby and there are some nice restaurants and bars in the area, but if I came back to Chiang Mai I would probably prefer to stay in the Old City. Still, the Old City was just a 20-baht ride away on the red buses that frequently pass outside Uwe's building. All in all, it was a nice stay and I was pleased with the apartment.
The flat is very nice, actually looks a little better than on the pics. Good bed, everything works fine. Be careful not to leave anyything to eat around as little ants will come quickly. This is, in my opinion, not a thing of the apartment, but generally in the region. The building has a pool and a nice gym as well as a supermarket, laundry facilities, a spa, etc. A new mall is 200m away, several restaurants about 300-900m.
It is quite far to the old town, 3.5km at least, depending on where you want to go. A nice walk in Europe, but in this heat in March/April very difficult to do. As there are not always tuk tuks or these red taxis that pick up several people available (there are very few normal taxis, except going to and from the airport), I recommend renting a scooter for about 3-5 Euros/day.
I had a great time there and everything worked fine, with clear instructions provided. Generally, I highly recomend visiting Elephant Nature Park (rescued elephants).
Thank you for your hospitality, Uwe!
We enjoyed out stay at the apartment. Kitchen was great to have and fully stocked with cooking needs. The location is very near the hip Nimman area with lots of good coffee and eats. In the other direction is the old city to which you can walk or easily hail a tuk tuk or red truck. High recommendation!
great place, great location, really clean, just want we needed as a family in chiang mai.
I really liked the place, it was clean and had all the facilities we needed.
