.Australia's most accessible World Heritage-listed rainforests are spread throughout the 8 National Parks of the Scenic Rim. The natural landscape is stunning!
It is a world of sub-tropical, eucalyptus and cycad rainforest featuring an abundance of easy walks and magnificent views of the Gold Coast and the national parks of The Scenic Rim.
There is much to do and see:
The Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk puts you in the canopy with the wildlife. This is in the top 2 attractions on the Mountain, the other being the Glow Worm Caves.
If you are a daredevil, you can hitch a ride with a local hang glider, or you can be an onlooker.
Meander down Gallery Walk, a run of intriguing shops, restaurants, art galleries.
If food and wine are more to your taste, visit the Cheese Factory, or The Belgian Chocolate Shop, or the boutique breweries and distilleries
.Buy some locally grown organic veggies, a bunch of native flowers, or a coffee.

Interaction with Guests
I am available by phone or email. During guest's stay there is Man Friday who is guest's local point of contact on the Mountain.
The location is tranquil and the views across the rolling pasture to the Coast, and having the rain forest in your back yard with the resultant bird life.
The Retreat is non smoking house.
The property has it's own bore, which keeps the tanks full, however guests are asked to be mindful of their water useage.
Since the Retreat is in a residential area, loud music is discouraged.
The bird feeder hanging our near the forest is usually full of bird seed. Feeding of the birds any other way is discouraged.
