Quiet cottage nestled in a Redwood Heights oasis.
We have lovingly renovated the detached private cottage next to our house. The whole property is half an acre with stunning views of the SF Bay and walking distance to shops and restaurants in the Laurel and Redwood Heights area.

The space
This is a perfect retreat for couples, small families or solo travelers. The full size kitchen allows for cooking in front of breathtaking views and a gorgeous ecological garden. Wifi and streaming are available.

Guest access
Guests can use the brick patio in front of the cottage. On request they have access to a charcoal grill. There are additional patio furniture in the yellow shed attached to the cottage.
We are happy to give guests a tour of the rest of the garden (1/2 acre).

Other things to note
We are the last property on a private drive. It is quiet and secluded. There is only one parking space near the cottage. Guests should park their car parallel and as close to the cottage as possible to allow for traffic flow. We prefer guests to arrive by 10pm on their first night, in case they need extra guidance finding us.

We provide yogurt, fruit, granola, coffee or tea with half and half as well as the basics in most kitchens: olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and a number of seasonings.

We do not allow any smoking or vaping inside the cottage under any circumstances.

With Covid 19, we follow all Airbnb guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting.

Redwood Heights is a beautiful and sunny area of Oakland. We are a 15 minute walking distance from many restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Redwood Regional Park is a 5 minute drive away with tons of hiking and biking trails.
If you are new to SF Bay Area, know that the weather can fluctuate greatly and wearing layers (bring a light jacket) is always encouraged. San Francisco is known for having cool overcast summers.
Also, reservations are required to visit Muir Woods and Alcatraz Island.
