Interaction with Guests
Minimal. I'm here to check guests in and out of the apartment. I'm available via cell phone if any questions or concerns come up during the stay.
Downtown LA is very urban and safe. I have lived in and worked in downtown LA for many years and feel very safe living and working here.
There are many restaurants (Baco Mercat, Bar Ama, Cole's, Bottega Louie), bars (Down N Out, The Varnish, 7 Grand, Crocker Club), lounges (The Association, Perch, The Standard), and coffee shops (Starbucks, of course, Syrup Desserts, Cafe Nine, Tierra Mia) within walking distance. A lot of filming locations--you will most likely come across a film crew while here.
LA Convention Center is 1.4 miles away from the apartment and is easy to get to walking (if you enjoy very long walks!), via car, or public transit. The Westin Bonaventure is 0.6 miles away and within walking distance.
I do allow for photo shoots in the apartment and I will offer a discount price for that depending on how you want to shoot the apartment. Filming and parties are prohibited.
My apartment is 2 blocks away from the Red Line and Pershing Square subway train station. There are also a lot of bus stops around the neighborhood. Uber, Lyft, and Sidecar are also available if guests need a cheaper alternative to taking a cab.
Other Things to Note
For guests that are sensitive to noise, I do provide earplugs and a white noise machine to block out noise. Like in any downtown area, street noise can be a common occurrence.
NO SMOKING INSIDE THE APARTMENT.
The apartment is located in a very quiet building. No loud music, no smoking, no drugs, and no additional guests are allowed in the apartment. Please be respectful of my neighbors. Please try to keep my place as clean as you originally found it.
FRONT DESK SECURITY: Front desk security are not responsible for this Air BnB listing in any way. Please do not bother them. When checking-in, please contact me directly by calling, texting, or sending a message via Air BnB. I will come downstairs to greet you and take you up to the apartment. Front desk security are not involved in checking-out either. Do not ask them to watch for your luggage or belongings. They are not responsible to watch over your stuff.
Please do not move the furniture around in any part of the apartment. Do not hang wet towels or clothing on any of the furniture. There is rack space in the bathroom for wet towels. There are also paid dryers on the same floor of the apartment to use.
Do NOT use paint anywhere inside the apartment. Paint leaves permanent damage and items that are damaged will be replaced.
Please inform me of your estimated time of arrival 24 hours before checking in. This allows me to make sure that I'm at home and that the apartment is ready for your arrival. Also, I do work outside of home and knowing when you will get here allows me to maximize my work hours. If you are booking and checking in the same day, this is obviously a different situation and we will communicate check-in times and if my place will best accommodate you.
Towels and beddings are not giveaways so please do not take them. They are for future guests.
The kitchen is free to use as you please to store food in the fridge, cook, and to eat. You can also cook using my cookware. If you cook in the kitchen, please clean up after yourself. Please wipe away any spills and wash any dishes you use or put them in the dishwasher. Before checking out, please throw away any leftover food you left in the fridge. You are welcome to use water from the pitcher as well as any condiments in the fridge and the cabinets.
If you are the last person in the apartment, please turn off all lights, coffee maker, and the AC to conserve electricity. Also please lock the door when you are leaving.
If a liquid spill of any sort occurs on the floors, please clean it immediately to prevent water damage. A roll of paper towels is in the kitchen and in the storage closet to clean up spills. If the spill was the result of the toilet overflowing, please notify me--even if that means waking me up--or if I'm not home, please use paper towels to take care of the spill as much as you can before I can take care of it myself.
Checking out: Check-out is at 11:00 AM, which means that you and your luggage is out of the apartment no later than 11:00 AM. If I don't have someone checking-in the next day, I can do a later check-out but this is on a case-by-case basis. If you want a later check-out, please ask in advance and I will try to accommodate you.
If you ruin bedding linens with stains (blood, grease, etc), you will be charged to replace them. Cost for replacing linens runs from $10-100 depending on what was ruined. Please do not eat or drink in the bed. If you are bleeding, please use tissues or towels.
Absolutely no complaints about our stay at Veronica's place. The room was clean, sheets crisp, WIFI working, parking close, and amenities closer.
I would definitely recommend Veronica's apartment if you want to stay in DTLA.
Veronica's place is the perfect place to stay. Very close to bars, restaurants and a bit of everything in downtown. She is very accommodating and provides an excellent guide and exemplary communication. The space is clean and she provides complementary snack for ones late night cravings.
Veronica's place is excellent. Nice and cozy. Close to bars, restaurants, and public transportation. Easy parking a block away. Check in and Check out was seamless. She also provided a useful book of information under the TV. Would highly recommend this place.
It was my first airbnb stay. Veronica was extremely helpful and super quick to answer all my endless questions.
The apartment was huge for 2. Everything that I can possibly need was provided. Two covered car parks aware available within walking distance of the apartment.
If I really have to find fault, the air con was kind of noisy, but it is centralized airconditioning by the whole building, so there's nothing much the owner can do.
I will definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who is visiting LA.
