About this listing
A cozy, bright and clean room in a heartily decorated apartment in Miraflores :)
This room is part of a three-bedrooms apartment (4 years old, 120m2) where I live in. Though small, it is very bright and has everything needed for a comfortable stay: a good bed (one and a half size), an entire closet, a desk, and an additional shelf. It has access to a shared full bathroom and also a half bathroom.
*Please notice that the room is eqquipped with a ONE-AND-A-HALF BED (1.05 X 1.90cm)
Fully equiped kitchen
Laundry machine, hairdryer, iron
Interaction with Guests
I usually leave the house around 8am and return at 7-8pm. However, I will always try to give some of my time to make your stay easier. You can also call me by phone or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) me in case you need anything. Besides, in your room you will find a guide (with a (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map) with my personal recommendations of restaurants, museums, and art galleries to visit in Miraflores and Barranco.
The apartment has a very strategic location within Miraflores. It is in a residential area full of parks and only 3 blocks from the cliffs that overlook the ocean, the "Malecon de Miraflores", with a breathtaking sight, where people jog, bike, skate or just spend the day watching the sea. Also, fitteen minutes walking distance to the lively Parque Kennedy (Miraflores central park). It also has access to popular markets, supermarkets, a lot of small stores. Besides, it's literally around the corner of growing gastronomic corridor in La Mar street, with great (believe me!) restaurants and coffee shops.
The district of Miraflores, apart from being beautiful and secure, has a very dynamic cultural life, on its downtown (bars, restaurants, cafes, bookstores, etc.) and on its many public spaces (parks, boardwalk in front of the sea).
Fifteen minutes walking distance to Miraflores center, and 20 minutes by bus to Barranco -the cultural district of Lima-. It is at a 4 to 8 blocks distance from to two main avenues (El Ejército and Arequipa) that connect the entire city through bus lines. Also 15 minutes walking distance to Metropolitano station, a bus with an exclusive road that is the best way to get to the city center. Besides, taxis in Lima are unexpensive. A taxi ride to the historical center, Barranco or Pueblo Libre (where the main historical museums are located) shouldn't cost more than 15 soles (USD 5). I recommend to use the Easy Taxi app or Uber.
Regarding the airport transportation, I can arrange a safe taxi pick at your request.

*** A description and picture on your profile and a message describing a bit about yourself and about your trip would really help me to take a decision!
1. Please, avoid using shoes inside the house, helping us to keep the apartment clean.
2. Kitchen and other common areas are open to use. Please clean after yourself after using these spaces.
3. Use coasters for your hot beverages (2nd drawer in the kitchen).
3. All bathrooms are equipped with trash cans. I want to let you know that the pipes in Lima are not made to withstand the flushing of toilet paper. To avoid plumbing problems, use the trash cans.
5. Common check in and check out hours of hostals will be applied if it is the case I have guests on the day previous or after your stay. (CHECK OUT: 12:00m / CHECK IN: 2:00pm).
