The Space

Right in the heart of the tourist district of Sofia, you will have a big room as well as your own bathroom (including toilet).
You can take advantage of the terrace next to your room to rest from your travels in the various districts of the city, write your postcards in the sun, or surf the Internet using our WiFi.
Situated on the 4th and last floor, (with lift! Very useful after a day of hiking), in a quiet area of Sofia, the apartment will allow you to really rest, and to start every morning, by having breakfast in the sun, on the other terrace, or you can lounge in 25 degrees weather, from April till October.
Naturally, you can use the fully-equipped kitchen, and a place will be reserved for you in the refrigerator for fresh fruit juice, eggplant fondant, and various olives.
We enjoy meeting travelers from all corners of the world, and we like taking care of our guests.
If you wish, we would happily share with you our experience of the Bulgarian capital over a cup of coffee or tea. We can help you plan your time in and around Sofia to take complete advantage of your stay. To escape some tourist traps, we can tell you where the best exchange rate is, the favorite traditional restaurants of "sofiotes" (the inhabitants of Sofia), the markets of fruits and vegetables visited frequently by the Bulgarian housewives, the public transportation, and the least expensive car rentals.
We are fascinated by the Bulgarian culture and traditions, in particular the folk, very popular dance here, among young as well as old Bulgarians.
Our apartment is very centrally located, you can get by foot to the center of the city and all the main attractions. Other neighborhoods in Sofia are accessible by subway (metro). A station is located 5 min from the apartment. But the charm of Sofia is also in the streetcars, the trolley buses, and its very old buses.

Guest Access

You could use the kitchen and the fridge. Just to let the place clean.
You could use the second terrace for lasing in sun.

Interaction with Guests

We can explain to you lot of tradition, and all what we knows about Bulgaria and bulgarian after 3 years in Sofia.

Getting Around

To reach the apartment from the bus station or the railroad station, you have several options:
We recommend you to take a taxi which, in Sofia, is very cheap. Since stations up to the apartment will cost you no more than 6 lèvas, that is 3 euros.
But if you are not too tired, and prefer to walk, you will be in the apartment in 15 or 20 minutes by walking at a normal pace.
You can also take a tramway, but you will need to make a transfer. If you choose to use this option, please let us know and we will provide you with the details.
If you would like to visit attractions outside of the city you can use the two subway lines.
Two stations are availables, both located 5 min walking from the apartment: SERDICA and ST. KLEMENT UNIV.
If you arrive to the airport, a bus will drive you to the city center in 40 minutes, but the taxi is more practical (between 12 and 18 lèvas, 6 - 9 euros according to the traffic).
To visit the city, you will not need to use transport, you can just visit it on foot. Nevertheless, know that there are 3 tramways lines, 3 bus lines, and 4 lines of trolley buses, less than 200 meters from the apartment.

Other Things to Note

We provide you towels, shampoo, and soap.
We do not smoke; but if you would like to smoke, please use the terrace.
Also, please be aware there is a cat living with us in the apartment.
