I felt very welcome at Miki's. Great neighborhood, I did not not have a car and did not need one. She was very gracious and offered me a bike and helmet to help me with my errands. Very safe neighborhood. This was better than staying at home. Definitely much better than my San Fran. hotels. Place was as described, it had a lot of amenities, clean and private and quite. You can interact with the host if you need to, but you have your own private space. This is my first booking with airbnb and i had a great experience. Definitely will try again. A+
Always great staying at Miki's! (Please see my other reviews, as I get tired of typing!)
Wonderful place to stay. It's very quiet, clean, and lovely. Mikki is a great host and made sure all of my needs were met. I highly recommend staying here!
I enjoyed my stay in Miki's "Private and quiet" room. The location was convenient to downtown Palo Alto and Stanford University, with easy parking on the street for my rental car. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, wi-fi was good, and with the fridge and tea kettle, I didn't have to eat out all the time. Miki was available if I needed anything, but she had things set up so nicely, I didn't have to ask!
Miki was an excellent hostess! She was very helpful and even let me print a boarding pass last minute. The accommodations were fantastic and very comfortable. The only downside (and this may have been something that I just couldn't figure out but others might be able to) was that the shower only seems to have on or off. There does not appear to be a way to adjust the pressure, which lent for a very firehose-esque shower. Other than that, every thing was perfect.
