We loved staying here. The staff is incredible - especially Lim! He is one of the sweetest people we have met in all of our travels. Probably reason enough to stay at this wonderful place. The others are great too, and were really accommodating of our requests. They put out a nice flower arrangement for our honeymoon, which was very sweet. We were also welcomed by an adorable cat and kitten (which we named Thumper and Ninja). Some of the other guests seemed to be annoyed by their begging at breakfast time, but we thought they were cute and loved playing with them (my wife is usually allergic but they didn't seem to affect her at all). The breakfast is pretty good too - they give you eggs dishes, fruit, yogurt, juices, jafels etc and as much as you want! And they serve it right to your mini-porch. Great way to start the day.
Overall, the rooms seemed to be quite an upgrade over the bungalow style places we saw elsewhere on the island, and the AC worked great. Loved the bathroom wall design and the mood lighting inside the room. The water temperature in the shower was spotty and not always hot, but it's hard to be mad about that when the air temperature is so warm anyway. It is also great to have that pool since it can be quite hot in the middle of the day and the ocean is not deep on the west side of the island. We also really liked the location - it is set back from the "main drag" but within a couple minutes from the beach. And it's by some of the best places on the island - shout out to Doctor Cocktail and Mowie's! Had a decent dinner at Sapari's as well.
Just two minor comments: the bike rentals are great, but are not free. It would be nice if they were complimentary given that the lodgings cost more than most places on the island, although they only end up being about $3/day so not a huge deal. Bikes are definitely necessary to enjoy the island to its fullest. Also, it would be nice if they had explained up front that bottles of water are not complimentary. Again, not very expensive, but would have been good to know as we had mistakenly assumed since breakfast was complimentary.
