Interaction with Guests
I have a day job so I might not be around a ton during the week but I like to try and connect with everyone who comes through for a bit. I live in the unit so I'm sure we will catch up but I'll respect your space.
The one thing I love most about this place is the location! You can walk about a block to the heart of Fillmore Street for cafes, shops, restaurants, and just about anything you need. If you want to explore the city, we are a few blocks from two great parks, a half a mile to the cable cars, and a one-mile walk through Pacific Heights' magnificent "Gold Coast" to the beautiful and historic Presidio.
The location is also very well served by the bus system. The central location puts the whole city in reach!
The location has a walk score of 98, a transit score of 86, and the roads are great if you aren't afraid to tackle a hill or two by bike.
This is city living. Parking can be a little tough, but, fortunately, you don't really need a car.
Several bus lines stop within 2-3 blocks so you can get anywhere.
Lyft and Uber are very easy ways to get around. Download the respective apps on a smartphone and you can hail a private driver directly to you within minutes. If you're a first timer, use the promo codes below and we will both get a free ride!

Other Things to Note
I have a selection of cereal for breakfast and plenty of coffee.
Please note the strict cancellation policy. Please don't book until you're sure you're coming!
My building has official quiet hours starting at 10 pm. No one is crazy about enforcement, but that does mean no late, noisy parties.
This is very much city living and, as such, outdoor space is scarce. To be respectful to others in the building, I don't allow smoking on the property. The neighborhood is great for a stroll if you'd like to smoke.
Feel free to use the kitchen and the washer/dryer, but please clean up after yourself!
Please keep the unit locked when you leave.
No smoking anywhere on the property.
Jay's apartment was exactly as described in the reviews: great location, great accommodation. We stayed for three nights and found the neighbourhood Fillmore St restaurants good for breakfast and evening meals. One day we walked from the apartment all around the city, the next day we rented bikes from Lombard St and cycled over Golden Gate bridge. The apartment was clean and tidy, we would definitely recommend staying here.
Thanks for letting us stay at your flat. It is beautiful, great located and perfect for staying over. Definitly bookmark it for future trips.
San Francisco is simply very cool, the room/flat is just very stylish, the bed is extreme comfy and the location is just perfect! In addition, I really felt like visting Colorado one day! :)
Jay's place is in an awesome location. Excellent accommodations and really private.
I had a wonderful stay at Jay's place. It was equipped with everything we needed including coffee etc. it's a beautiful home in a great location. Thank you so much for everything Jay!
We stayed in Jays apartment with our daughter Julie.
Everything was very clean and the apartment is great.
Although we have not seen Jay, the contact via email was very well and he made it easy for us to access.
Our first Air Bnb experience was awesome.
We really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was SO LOUD! The walls and ceilings are paper thin and you can hear the upstairs neighbors walk, talk, watch tv, etc.
The first night was ok - they went to bed around midnight. Our second night though, they didn't get home till 1am, then proceeded to watch TV and walk around till 3.30am, all of which was very clearly heard in our bedroom. Jay was away the weekend (we never met him in person), so there wasn't an easy way to resolve this.
