Also, we provide you with up to two days free of charge wood supply for the fireplace. If you need more wood after that, we can supply it for an additional extra charge.
We can arrange a taxi service as well to go back to the airport or somewhere else. Let us know ahead of time. Most taxi companies close at 9pm. I do like to interact with my guests when possible but travellers are mostly busy most of the time, visiting archeoological sites or enjoying the large and diverse variety of restaurants outside. Besides I have a clear understanding of people’s privacy so I often greet my guests upon arrival and say goodbye to them on check out day. I have had so many great experiences and I love what I do. Talking to me or finding me at my house won’t be a problem.
The Centro Historico is up and running, though vibrant it is statistically the safest neighborhood in the Cusco City, it is named this way after its historical position and its colonial and Andean streets. Clean and safe, close to grocery stores and Avenida El Sol, one of Cusco main and biggest street.
Within walking distance from the Main Square or PLAZA DE ARMAS, your apartment is only 6 blocks walking distance from the center. Supermarkets are one block away from where you are. And yes, it is safe to walk at night around the apartment. Groups of two or more should not have any problem coming late or at 3am. Great apartment. Monica was a wonderful host, full of great info. The tea provided helped us acclimatize to the altitude
Monica is the perfect host. She met us on arrival, gave s great tour, provided s map of the local area with great suggestions for restaurants and sights. In additions good recommendation for how to adjust to The altitude. She was also vey accommodating with our excess luggage while we went to Machu Piccu. And the apartment was beautiful!
Great apartment. Really quaint. Loved the supply of coca tea and coffee. Monica is a great host. She had lots of info and advice. She was always available with answers to our questions.
Monica is one of the best Airbnb hosts out there. She was extremely welcoming and helpful and made our stay in Cusco quite an enjoyable one.
We needed a place to stay before we started on the Inca Trail. My buddies and I are from the flatlands and needed some extra time to acclimate to the altitude. We happened to book Monica's house and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made.
Monica was extremely helpful and responsive during the duration of our stay. She prepared a welcome packet that had some great information about the area, including things to do and places to eat. She helped arrange transportation to and from the airport and also helped arrange a private tour of the Sacred Valley for us. She checked in regularly and made sure we had everything we needed.
The location of the house is very convenient. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. It's close enough to all the touristy things but far enough away to be quiet. I felt perfectly safe and secure walking to and from the house to the Plaza.
If I ever make it back to Cusco, I would stay at Monica's again in a heartbeat!
Great place to stay and great host. After 24 hrs of air travel my daughter and I arrived tired and flustered as Sprint Cellular had droped the ball and I had no cell service other than what i could do with wifi. Many suggestions as to restaurants and places to go as well as general advice about our stay in Cuzco and Inca Trail hike. Awesome enclosed courtyard to sip tea in the morning and everything was clean and as promised. Very responsive and highly recommended.
Monica was very welcoming. She showed us around the apartment, had a map of the neighborhood for us and a list of helpful tips, including drinking tea made from coca leaves (which she provided). There was a booklet with restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. The apartment was very conveniently located.
