Malin is a very gracious hostess and the apartment in Temple Bar is clean, well furnished, easily accessible and centrally located. My family and I would be very happy to stay there again.
We had a great visit to Dublin. The apartment is located in the absolute center of things making it easy to come up with great day trips, theater, pub ideas and more. I was worried that it might be noisy but the apartment is quite as can be - we al slept very well. We had been traveling for nearly three weeks so we cooked and ate dinner every night at the apartment- that worked out very well! We spent mornings and late afternoons in the kitchen enjoying snacks, coffee looking at the view down the quay. Great experience!
Malin was able to meet us immediately upon our arrival from the airport. She gave us a quick and friendly tour of the accommodation. The apartment is exactly as described. We had a fantastic 8-night stay and loved every minute of it.
We never tired of the view from the kitchen and living room windows. Loved having coffee every morning and watching the city come alive. It is a bit loud toward the street side of the place, but the bedrooms face a beautiful courtyard which was always quiet and peaceful.
Enough cannot be said about the location -- we found it easy to walk nearly everywhere: Christchurch, Grafton Street, and the many, many restaurant/ shopping/pub (email hidden)e Smock Alley Theater is literally steps away -- we were able to catch the Trainspotting production which was great.
Bottom line is that we loved staying here and felt so lucky to have found it. Thanks, Malin!
Malin was very accommodating and a good host. The apartment is in a very convenient location in Dublin and has great views of the river. Malin checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going okay. Enjoyed the experience and would recommend this location to anyone trying to find a great spot on budget.
Malin was a terrific host. She met us on arrival and was available for requests and information. The flat is wonderfully located, just off the noisy section of Temple Bar, within walking distance of major sights and easy to return to in the middle of the day.
The flat was beautiful and sunny and minimal in the best possible way. We got lucky w sunny weather so the little balcony off the bedroom was bliss. Plus also the lovely kitchen table. Also super good hot water! It's a wee bit busy outside but given that it's a minute away from Temple Bar it makes up for that!
Malin was a perfect host although everything you need for a fun stay is right there! Thanks!

About the Host, Malin
A women in her 30 something ( young one that is..) that is renting out two apartments in temple bar old quarters. Doing this for "work" as I have two young children to care for and childcare is mad expensive, -yes they come along when I meet you for your checkin or come over if there is a hand needed with anything.
I have a background in hotel and catering for the last 15 years, so I hope I know what I'm doing and that you enjoy staying with us. I don't provide welcoming baskets on a very simply theory - if I put in and give full fat milk, there will be a preference of low fat and the other way around. Or in simple English, I hate to throw away food just because I got your preference wrong.
Other then that I'm easy going, don't like complications as there is always a solution if you want it, love to travel ( yes.. On pause right now, but will be back in business in a year or three) and love good food. Born in Sweden, but lived in Dublin the last 15 years and love it!
