We had a great stay here and Kent was very helpful arranging taxis and advising us about what to do during our short stay in Cusco!

Kent is a great guy. Very knowledgable and quick to respond. He also allowed us to keep one of our bags back as we went on our hike.

Six of us were travelling from the US to Peru. We stayed at Casa Roca for a total of 6 days and 5 nights, non-consecutively. It was a fun experience because the six of us were in close quarters sharing bunk beds and just 1 bathroom. For our first round in Cusco (2 days, 2 nights), we were met at the Cusco airport with taxis that Kent arranged for us. It was 15 soles to get to the Hostel. Once settled into our room, we explored the city with ease. Casa Roca was very close to the Plaza de Armas, the main center of the city. We made it in time for Corpus Christi. It was such a memorable event. Casa Roca was also close to many food places, markets, internet cafes, dessert places (loved the tres leches at the local tortas shop). Transportation was also easy to find: colectivos (rideshares), taxis, buses, private vans to sacred valley were within walking distance. Laundry service provided by the location was a bit confusing but then again there are so many other 2 hour lavanderia stores to choose from. Breakfast was provided every morning (bread, butter/jam, coffee, tea). Staff was extremely accomodating (a handful of them were students/travellers/volunteers? who were manning the front desk). Round 2 of Cusco was 3 days and 3 nights. It started to feel a bit cramped with six of us to a room and one bathroom. Since there was construction during our stay, water would shut off at around 9pm to 12am. So, there were tubs of water set aside for when that occurred. That was no fun. However, staff were always understanding and accomodating to our needs. The communal, living room area was very cute and well decorated. We met some nice people. Taxis were called for us for our departure. Overall good experience!

Our experience was OK. Before arrival Kent was helpful. During our stay we were in a room next to the communal area where people were playing music and generally begin loud until 3am and kept us awake (we had the Inca Trail starting the following day so needed a good nights sleep). There was not hot water and breakfast was ok (standard Peruvian hostel offering of hot drinks, break, jam and butter). We left our bags at the hostel whilst we were on the Inca Trail for four days, Kent assured us they would be locked up and secured, however we found them insecure just sitting in the communal area. Location is ok about a 15 min walk to the historical centre.

Everything was great! I needed a place to stay for one night before heading to Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu, and was able to get a large clean room with a private bathroom for a good price. Some of the staff speak very good English, while others do not. It was it at all a problem for me, though. Highly recommend!
