Great location! Dan's place is very clean, cozy and comfortable. It's close to shops and restaurants. We love his interior decoration and lovely garden too. He is a good host and very responsive to all our questions. We definitely will come back for our next trip to LA.
A cozy apartment on a quiet street. The location is excellent, not only for walking about but access to other parts of LA via car. A parking spot was a very nice bonus. Dan is accessible and proactively communicates to ensure you have a great stay. I'm looking forward to booking again. If you want to simulate the experience of 'living in LA' this is a great place to do it.
Our Valentine's long-weekend stay at Dan's gem of a home was perfect! From neighborhood/location, to the chic decor (interior & garden) and amenities (parking), we were beyond satisfied. We had the "LA local" experience & couldn't be happier w/ our selection. Dan was so accommodating given our shifting schedule due to a weather-related flight cancellation and we were able to move the entire stay back a day. Logistics & communication were a breeze. I highly recommend Dan's AirBnB & look forward to future stays.
I travel to LA a few times a year and this is the best air bnb I've stayed in by far. It was beautifully designed and decorated, clean, centrally located and spacious. Dan was quick to respond when I had questions and a pleasure of a host. I'd stay again for sure.
Had a great stay at Dan's place. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very, very clean. Close to lots of cafes and shops, The Grove, LACMA and other venues. Parking on site was easy and made everything so simple. Dan was helpful and prompt as a host. Would definitely stay there again.
Dan's apartment was a pleasure to stay in. Located in the "La Brea" area of Los Angeles, it offers many amenities not usually found in other airbnb locations: in-house washer and dryer, a comfy huge bed that can host at least 3 people (!), lots of cleaning material, private parking, and a great shower with hot water. If you need a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom close to The Grove, be sure to check this place out!
Great place in a great location. We had appointments from Santa Monica to Downtown so a central location was key. Dan's apartment was perfect for the two of us. Plenty of great spots nearby to go out (bld, Petty Cash Taqueria, Milk) and grocery stores if you want to stay in (Whole Foods, Ralph's, Trader Joes). We're familiar with LA so didn't need much help but Dan was ready with suggestions if needed. Would stay here again, no question.
I highly recommend this apartment for a number of reasons...the location, the decor, the cleanliness, and the responsiveness of the host!
I loved being able to walk to many restaurants and shops. I felt that I was in the middle of the action, yet I was able to come home to a peaceful oasis.
The apartment itself is very spacious and very nicely furnished with lots of little touches.
Great place! Nice quiet street. Having a designated parking spot was priceless, as the street parking was quite tough.
Dans place is really cute, I loved the way it was styled inside and the layout of the house is great, a nice big kitchen and a laundry which was very handy being on the road for 5 weeks! Very large bedroom and an enormous bed. Shower had great water pressure which is always nice!
A major draw card for me was having somewhere to park, and although it was a bit tight when all 4 cars were in its a heck of a lot better than trying to find somewhere on the st.
It's a great location and reasonably easy to get anywhere.
For anyone who likes spa treatments Ona spa on Beverly blvd (5min walk) has the most incredible acupuncturist and I had a scrub and massage which were fantastic.
Dan was really lovely when I spoke to him and very helpful.
If I'm back in LA I will aim to stay here again.
