I rented the family suite at Abbey's Gate for my family and I when I returned to PSU for my graduation. Georgia and her husband, Kevin were such gracious hosts from the beginning, making sure we were comfortable upon arrival. They were very attentive to our needs, filling the coffee pot with coffee so that it was ready to go in the morning, providing plenty of bottled water throughout our stay, and stocking the bathroom with luxurious toiletries for our use. The suite included breakfast in the morning, which was homemade, using some of the vegetables from their own back garden! And the view! What a beautiful view of the Allegheny mountains and countryside they have from their house. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at their place!
Virtually impossible to overstate how friendly and generous the Abbeys are. My car broke down; they loaned me one of their own! Great food, great source of information about the area.
