Our villa has 2 sleeping rooms, a big halfopen bathroom, a living room, a big and a small terrace. The property is 1700m². The ocean is 150m away and suitable for swimming.
The villa has two sleeping rooms. One with king-size bed the other with queen-size bed. So all together there is space for four person. We have a wastewater-garden for a wastewater treatment in an ecologically responsible way. The electricity for the villa comes from a off-grid solar system. The water comes from a pump which is also powered by solar energy. The house is in an area with low tourism and is suitable to relax and a good starting point to experience the balinese culture.
Beside the villa there is the kitchen which is designed in balinese style seperated as extra house. The kitchen has a gas cooker and a fridge and freezer combination. Because of the fridge and freezer the kitchen gets is energy from an energy provider, but its still designed for low energy consumption. For a small few there is also laundry-service available from our staff. Drinking water, towels and bedclothes are inclusive.
A simple breakfast with fruits and balinese biscuits or bread and jam can be also served for 5€ per person. Massages, a car with tour experienced driver and airport transfer can be also organized.
Interaction with Guests
The staff and our balinese family comes at least two times a day to check out if everything is ok, to keep the house and the garden clean and if possible to fullfill all your orders and wishes.
Other Things to Note
At the land are like in bali common two dogs. which are used to tourist.
Villa Manu is a lovely new building which we found to be comfortable, clean and spacious. It has a beautiful garden and excellent kitchen facilities. We enjoyed our stay very much, particularly the close proximity to the beach where we swam and opportunities to interact with local people in the village of Tejakula. Markus arranged a scooter for us to hire and the village, eating places, market, waterfall and massage spas are all within an easy scooter ride from the villa. Markus and his staff were very helpful and obliging throughout our stay. It is good to have money on you before going to stay in the villages along the north coast as it can be hard to find an ATM that accepts Visa cards or a money exchange.
Fantastic place to get away totally from the hustle and bustle, a short walk to the stony beach which is great for swimming. Tejakula is a small town with relatively few tourist amenities, so stock-up with a few things before you arrive, renting scooters is very convenient for getting around. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, and the kitchen is well equiped, the villa is spacious and we liked the garden. We strongly recommend the local Balibese spa for a massage, Cili Ewas for a drink, snack or meal, a visit to the waterfall in the next town, Desa Les.
