The space
My home is on a quiet road, ideal for a retreat from the busy city.
I live a simple life, much of my time is spent writing and working in my Art Studio.
My home is conducive for reflection, rest and relaxation. It's a perfect place to be one with yourself and the nature around you. I do have one sweet kitty, who is not allowed in guest rooms or outside.

Guest access
I have ample parking space. You will need a car to get around. Having said that, I live on a most beautiful tree lined road. There are magical hikes through the woods at The Darling Marine Center, leading down to the Damariscotta river...chilly but swimmable.

This is my home, and I do enjoy conversations with my guests, however, your privacy and comfort is my first priority.

Other things to note
Please note, I have a new , indoor only cat. Use caution when opening doors. This is a rural area, on rare occasions, we have a power outage. I do have a generator, and in a short time you will have power back on. That is, I believe, part of the charm of living in Maine.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a rural setting, though you are a 10 minute drive to the beach, in one direction, and 10 minutes to town in the opposite direction. The Darling Marine Center is a 5 minute walk from my house, offering beautiful gentle hikes through the woods, which end at the river side. Feel free to take a dip, though the waters are chilly.
