Ideal location for anyone looking to explore D.C. Shana and Brandon were great hosts! Appreciated their communication with us throughout the process (they emailed us before our stay to ensure we had all the appropriate information that we would and during our stay just to make sure we were doing ok and offer their assistance). Their place has clean and had everything you would need. Definitely, would stay here again!

This place is absolutely perfect for seeing all the monuments and museums in DC! We walked everywhere and didn't have to worry about parking which is a total nightmare! The host took great care of us and was really responsive. Highly recommend!

Amazingly convenient location yet still quiet. Great apartment to explore all that DC has to offer. Great communication and easy checkin/checkout. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Stayed here for five nights with my wife and two kids aged 13 and 11. The main bed (sleeps two) is comfortable. The living room furniture that converts into bedding for a 3rd and 4th person isn't super comfortable, but should be fine if your kids aren't too picky. You are in a basement and can hear the host family's footsteps on occasion. This didn't bother us, but you should know in case you are sensitive to such things. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Ditto most of what was said in the other positive reviews of this place. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of this apartment! It was close to everything - Capitol, Supreme Court, metro, restaurants, and even a grocery store! Neighborhood was quiet. Hosts were great; responsive to your needs.

Wonderful spot for exploring the Capitol. We stayed with our two teenage boys and found it very comfortable. Thoughtful touches like extra metro cards and coffee and tea were much appreciated. The location cannot be beat.

I was in town with my wife for a conference at the convention center. The apartment is quite a ways from the convention center, but I made the trip door to door in about 20 minutes. The nearest metro station (Capitol South) is less then 2 blocks away. From there, L'enfant Plaza (a major transfer point) is only two stops away. It was very easy to get around, including traveling to and from Reagan national airport. The apartment is only two blocks from the Capitol in a quite neighborhood. I felt perfectly safe when walking at night. The Capitol Police are everywhere. The apartment itself was clean, quiet, and modern. It was a nice place to crash at the end of a long day, much better than the conference hotel rooms which cost twice as much.

Shana User ProfileShana is a superhost.

We are a family of three who live on Capitol Hill and are excited to share our home with people who find Washington, DC as exciting as we do. Our young son loves visiting the local parks and museums which are all walking distance to our home. We have a friendly neighborhood that is very welcoming to visitors.
