We really enjoyed the Nature Lovers Sanctuary. The dock was amazing. It allowed us to enjoy several wonderful sunsets. The outdoor and indoor spaces were very pleasant and comfortable in both sunny and cloudy weather. Best of all--we enjoyed fresh orange juice daily via juicer and oranges off of the tree. We'd highly recommend renting this space.
We had an amazing time at this house. Memorable and relaxing and restorative. Can't say I saw much of Jacksonville! We didn't want to leave this sanctuary!
All the things is same with what the Bob said and show on the information.
This listing is very nice and our family really enjoyed their stay. Several people went swimming and there was enough space for people to spread out and have solitude. The property is really serene and relaxing. The house is designed to encourage everyone to talk to one another, read books, and play. We really had a lovely time! We did have to do some childproofing. There were some delicate and beautiful things that we worried about our toddlers touching but it was very easy to relocate those. The kitchen was wonderful and spacious. We could have 3-4 cooks in there at one time plus several people (email hidden) on the other side. It was nice to be in such a spacious communal space. We'll definitely consider this place again in the future.
This place was awesome. My family and myself had a fantastic time. Everything you need to enjoy your experience. Close to amenities like grocery store and many restaurants or just grill on the beautiful patio and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. The house was very well stocked with almost everything. I was so surprised to see how little we needed to stay a week. Very kid friendly and they loved drawing on the chalk board. Thanks so much for your hospitality and we highly recommend this to any vacation goers.
We had a lovely time! The house was very chic and comfortable. We loved the three living areas ! And the light & airy kitchen was very well stocked and the whole house was beautifully decorated. There were 5 of us at varying times due to work schedules and two dogs. There was plenty of room and lots to do. We all segued from the house --> to the pool --> to the Cabana --> to the Deck overlooking the dock area --> to the Dock --> and then we would repeat. It was blissful. The cute little Cottage-in-the-works will be a delight for the future. The landscaping was lush & plenty of area for the dogs to explore. We were fortunate to stay here for the July 4th Holiday and Bob suggested we watch the fireworks from the Dock. Delightful ! We were able to relax, sip wine and view several displays of fireworks from Green Cove Springs to the South all the way to Jacksonville to the North. Seeing fireworks on the horizon of the river will be a treasured memory. Thank you Bob & Lori for sharing your home !
This was an amazing place to stay!! My family and I had the privilege of visiting for one week... Wish we could have stayed longer!! The house was perfect. Clean and relaxed, equipped with everything we could have needed. The owners, Bob and Lori, were super friendly and easy going, while always respecting our privacy. A couple times we saw them out taking care of the grounds, so we went out to meet them and chat for a while. Otherwise, we would have never known they were there. While the house is really great, I think what makes this place so special is the grounds. There is a huge, extremely beautiful oak tree out front, and lots a big trees with beautiful Spanish moss hanging everywhere out back on the way out to the pier. Fruit trees to enjoy, a wonderful dock to fish off of, or just enjoy the view. Sunsets are incredible. The pool is great too. I took several dips a day with my 10 month old, and then while he was napping I would get to lay out on the pool deck. No complaints at all, everything was perfect. Really hope to visit again!
