We stayed in Connie's place for a few days. It was clean, quite and comfortable. Connie is a respectful, thoughtful, interesting host. She provided lots of informations and tips for us. I definitely enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it!!
The communication with the hosts was very easy and fluent, which was perfect considering that I booked the room with very short notice. I booked the accomodation for my boyfriend, who spent two weeks in there, and his stay was very good. Connie is a very kind and thoughtful host. Totally recommended :).
A quiet room in a quaint neighborhood, tucked away from the hubbub of downtown Reykjavík. Walking distance to the wonderful Sundlaug Kópavogs pool, which is a wonderful place to relax after a long flight. And Connie was a consummate host -- helpful, informative, kind. Highly recommended!
Connie's place was a great value, clean, easy, and comfortable. She is also very warm and funny and gives good advice. She's eager to meet and converse with guests, which is what Airbnb is all about!
We had a great experience. When we first drove up to the house Connie was there to meet us. The house and room were quite spacious and clean, and Connie was a great host, giving us advice on nearby supermarkets and her experience of traveling around Iceland.
I stayed with Connie and Don for 2 nights this summer with my mom. I had a fantastic experience and felt welcome at their home. Their house is very comfortable, benefiting from great views and is well-located for downtown Reykjavik by car or bus. Donald and I were in communication from the very start to coordinate every aspect of our trip to Iceland, and Connie was kind enough to share an insider's perspective on the best places to visit and sights to see in Iceland. Fantastic experience!
I had a layover in Reykjavík and stayed the night with Connie and Don in their lovely home. I did not meet Don, but Connie was extremely welcoming and we had some wonderful conversation. We even took a short walk to the bakery together. The location is great, and is only a couple minutes from a bus stop.
The bed was very comfortable, and the view is spectacular. I'm already planning for a longer journey soon! :)
