Interaction with Guests
I will be available by text and email as I am usually traveling, which is why you get to stay here. You'll see some of the oddities I've gathered along the way! I love to give suggestions so ask me anything.
I love the coffee shop that's right next to Whole Foods. The funky vintage stores on Haight (some great finds.) There are 3 yoga studios within 2 blocks. But most of all I love jogging and hanging out in the biggest park in the city right out the window. The beach is about 10 minutes away.
The N Judah and the Muni connect you to every spot in the city within 3 blocks walking. I recommend downloading the app Lyft or Uber, or rent a bike. It's the best way to get around the city!
Other Things to Note
This place is one of a kind. It is designed to be welcoming, have great energy for relaxation and inspire creativity.
Go nuts but be human! Please be respectful and keep the hallway to inside voices. Other than that, treat it as you would your own home, as it's mine. No pets, or smoking. Do both of those in the park.
This flat is on a very busy and noisy street near a hospital with ambulance sirens all night. Unless you wear eyeshades and earplugs you will not sleep. Street parking is next to impossible and there is an odor of weed at all times. The fold down couch in the living room is uncomfortable for sitting and sleeping. We would have enjoyed a TV in the evenings for winding down. We enjoyed Cole Street restaurants and shops and the convenience of Golden Gate Park.

Beth I'm sorry you didn't find this listing to your liking. You never gave me any of this feedback when I saw you in person. Welcome to Airbnb!
Great location in the Haight district and a comfortable flat.
Lovely traditional sash windows do let in a fair bit of road noise but the white noise machines help. Zach very pleasant to communicate with but sometimes there is a delay in replying as he is off traveling.
Quick tips: Check the dishwasher if you can't find anything, on Sunday evening move your car for street cleaning (Kezar Drive had spaces when we stayed) and look behind the Big Sur map above the kitchen table if a switch trips the electricity.
Lovely apartment in an ideal location -- easy walk into the park, to restaurants, cafes, and shopping. The apartment was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. Great pile of pillows for relaxing in this comfortable space, and lots of sun streaming in the skylights and windows when we were there made it even better. Zach was quick to respond to the few questions we had and it was a great stay overall.
The listing description was very accurate, the instruction to get in where very clear! Really helpful.
Zach's appartment was really great for the four of us! Stylish, spacious, well equiped, close to Haight Street and for runners as we are so close to the great Golden Gate park! A bit noisy, but sorry, we are in town!
To be recommended big time!
email response to my confirmation was quick and friendly. pin board in apartment had wifi and feed back which was fun to see. apartment was clean, spacious light and welcoming. good selection of leaflets for the city, including an invaluable tram/bus map. beds were V nicely made and whole apartment had stylish but also homely welcoming feel. white noise machines were a godsend for traffic noise outside. a great place I would definitely recommend to others.
Positives: clean, spacious, organic/eco, quiet neighbors, good placement (close to Wholefoods and other stores, as well as public transport). Free parking right outside of the apartment (if you are lucky).
Negatives: noisy from the outside (but the white-noise machine in every bedroom is a life savior, helped a lot!). No curtains in the bedrooms, so you wake up with the sun (not a real negative though).
P.S. the smell of marijuana is there pretty much at all times if you keep the kitchen/bathroom windows open.
