Our cozy home is located in one of the most elite neighborhoods in the south end area of Louisville. Beautiful views surrounding the whole property. 2 minutes from the Gene Snyder and 15-20 minutes from downtown Louisville and Churchill Downs.

The space
Our guest suite is conveniently located in our walkout basement which has its own private stairway and entrance. Once inside, the space houses a large open floor plan which combines the living room and kitchenette areas (microwave & refrigerator only). The private room and full bathroom are spacious and accommodating.

To note: The bedroom does not have a window and the door is a little smaller than typical. Plenty of options of egress include (2) large windows in the living room as well as the double door entrance to the walkout.

Other things to note
While this is a very accommodating guest suite, it is also our family home. Most weekends we make our way out exploring with our girls (Ages 3 and 1), but others we may end up playing in the water hose on the front porch. During the day, noise transfer from our main level to the lower level suite can be heard; kids running around, vacuum cleaner, and dog paws pacing back and forth are a few examples. (We try our best to bring daily activities to an end by 9pm to ensure any extra noise isn’t heard) We have 1 dog, 2 cats, and a friendly dragon who you’ll find lives in the guest suite. (Bearded Dragon, that is.) The walkout basement is a zero “Fur” zone. All pets are indoor/outdoor animals, so you’ll more than likely see them around the home. While they’re all extremely lovable, we ask for you to do your best and keep them out of your private living quarters.

The steps leading down to the private entrance can be a hurdle to some. There is no handrail and it feels steep due to the drop off on both sides; please take note of this being the only path to travel while booking our place.

Our home is strictly a no smoking or vaping area, in the home or outside on any of our property.
