The space
An individual vacation for nature lovers

On our former “podere,” you can enjoy a personalized vacation surrounded by nature—alone, as a couple, with a large group of friends, or with the whole family, including your dog.

The Podere is rented as a self-catering house. It offers the best conditions for a holiday that differs from the usual everyday life at home and other holiday homes:

- We encourage community experience!
The spacious kitchenette in the original preserved kitchen-living room offers plenty of space for a shared cooking experience.
Shared meals at a long table in front of the house or on our new terrace with stunning views make for unforgettable Italian moments.
The large dining room as well as our seminar room offer enough space for relaxed encounters, conversations and games.
Shall we play something together again? Board games, table tennis or foosball are available in the house, there is enough space in the yard for shared volleyball or smaller football tournaments.
The expansive grounds inspire shared ideas, the spacious barbecue area on the lower terrace with stunning panoramic views to impressive and unforgettable barbecues.

- No noise, no neighbors, no limits. You can do what you want here!
Nothing stands in the way of a spontaneous disco in the seminar room or a louder celebration!

- Last but not least, our separate outdoor bathroom with bath and solar hot water connection has already delighted many guests!

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire living space.
The house has two entrances, via the eat-in kitchen or via the dining room.

In the former barn there is also a small mattress storage area available for a maximum of four people. However, this room in the "tower" can only be reached via a permanently installed ladder.
The other parts of the barn are private.

Other things to note
- Ideal is the layout of the house for 6 couples or 12 adults (in double room). Additional beds are provided for children. Children can sleep up to a total of 28 beds. But then it's pretty tight!

Price:
Since the settings of AirBnB do not allow appropriate settings:

- Price children: Counts children 2-12 when booking simply with 1/2 person. With an odd number, you can simply round it off.
Ex: 2 adults and 1 child = 2 people. 2 adults and 2 or 3 children = 3 people. 2 adults and 4 children = 4 people, etc.
- Infants below 2 free of charge, as well as dogs.

- Cleaning fee of €200: The house must still be left swept clean, trash must be taken with you.

- If you bring your own bedding, linen, bed linen, towels or dish towels, the price displayed via AirBnB is reduced by - €25/ person.

- Firewood: +€6 per box, or €30 per day for groups by arrangement.

If necessary, we are very happy to make you an individual and official AirBnB host offer on the special conditions mentioned!
Please note: This must then be accepted within 24 hours (due to AirBnB's requirements).

- The co-host will inspect the house upon departure.

Heating:
- Attention, the whole house cannot be heated! We do not have central heating!
- The bedrooms do not have heating!
- In the kitchen, however, it has a wood-burning stove and the original open fireplace, around which you can sit together very comfortably.
- In the dining room there is a large fireplace that is sufficient to heat the space.
- The bathrooms are equipped with heating fans.
- Our seminar room cannot be heated!

Neighborhood highlights

The former farmhouse is surrounded by grain fields.

The path to the "Podere Colle All` Asino" leads via the neighboring courtyard about 1.5 km away and is public, but a cul-de-sac, at the end of which is the homestead.

In the summer, the harvest season is also a bit more busy, then a tractor or a truck with straw bales comes by in the morning and evening - that's it.
After the harvest, starting around the end of July, the fields are plowed. Then you can hear some tractor caterpillar buckling through the hills.

Otherwise, our immediate neighbors are many birds, deer, rabbits and pheasants.

Hi, For almost 20 years, we have been renovating Podere Colle All'Asino while on vacation. Now we are ready for foreign guests as well. We are Anette, Ehrentrud, Sören and me. We are active in the Freiburg/Basel area in the educational-therapeutic field. That's why we're often not on site. Then our neighbor Sandra will greet you; she will give you the keys and, if necessary, show you around. Then you have the Podere Colle All'Asino all to yourselves. When we are on site, we are happy to share the kitchen and dining rooms with you, we are happy to cook with you or spend an evening with you. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Marcus
