About this listing
Our cozy bungalow sits between Nulu, the Highlands, and Frankfort Avenue, a truly central location for the foody, night owl, hipster, or art-lover. Minutes from downtown, and nestled back off the main throughfare, our home is a quiet, convenient hub!
Our home is cozy and quiet, even while sitting within five minutes of some of the best entertainment, shopping, and eating Louisville has to offer. We have a full bathroom, a full size bedroom, a spare bedroom with a baby crib, in which any adult could comfortably sleep on an air mattress, a fenced in yard for pets, a spacious porch, and on-site parking. We have also recently added a wood-burning stove to stave off the winter chill and add another layer of warmth to our comfortable abode.
Guests will have access to one floor, the yard, the driveway, and all appliances.
Interaction with Guests
We will be present for check-in.
A five minute drive will find you in the Highlands, Crescent Hill, Clifton, or Nulu. Within ten minutes, you could drive downtown, to Churchill Downs, or to the East End shopping areas.
Please take care of our things and don't smoke in the house. Other than that...enjoy yourselves and try to relax.
Ben and Molly's house was perfect for our weekend getaway in Louisville. We enjoyed relaxing in their wonderful home almost as much as we did exploring their great city! We have plans to come again and we want to stay here when we do!
Ben & Molly's bungalow was the perfect place to stay in Louisville. It is in a great location - you feel hidden away from the city but are really close to everything. It was insanely adorable and we instantly felt comfortable. Molly was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay at Ben and Molly's place! The hosts were very accommodating, and the location of the bungalow was perfect! We would totally stay there again!
We had a wonderful time staying at the house. It was clean and charmingly decorated. They have a list of recommendations which were spot on. Louisville was a fun city to visit for a long weekend. We went to the Zoo, walked around Cherokee Park, crossed the Big Four bridge, and ate out on Baxter and Bardstown Rd. There are so many good places to eat and neighborhoods to walk. Knowing we had a lovely home to return to each night with clean sheets and a cozy, country feel made our trip that much more enjoyable.
I appreciated Ben & Molly's easy and quick communication for every question I had. The bungalow and trailer were both totally great with a lovely aesthetic in each - I felt absolutely welcomed. It was a quick, easy walk to the Avenue for coffee, dinners and drinks. Super great place to stay in Louisville!
Ben and Molly were very responsive hosts, and I appreciated all of their recommendations--they clearly love Louisville and are true foodies! The house was comfortable, but as someone who doesn't live with dogs or babies, I felt it could have used some airing out (granted, that is hard to do in the winter/early spring).
Ben & Molly's home was welcomingly set-up and exactly as described. A welcome basket with their recommendations gave us a clear lay of the land. The house was tucked away on a hidden street in a quiet neighbourhood, we were walkable to Frankfort (cute little street with great restaurants and shops).
