  • Dawn's house in Kekaha is even better than the pictures! If you really want to get away from hotels and busy tourist towns, then staying with Dawn is where you need to go! My husband and I were there for 8 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the wide open space of the entire upstairs including 2 lanai's. Sharing the downstairs kitchen was easy with Dawn - which brings me to the best part of our stay - staying with a local, Dawn. She was very accommodating and made us feel looked after by little touches of hospitality (fresh flowers on our table, and clean sheets and emptied garbages halfway through our stay), but also great tips on sightseeing, including secluded places, good restaurants, and sightseeing company recommendations.
We would definitely recommend Dawn and her place and will hopefully return!

Kauai is a very magical place for swimming in the ocean, hiking in the mountains, exploring the variety of natural sights from waterfalls, lava formations, sea life and incredible vegetation. This is one of the greatest places on this beautiful earth. Come see it.
