P A R K I N G information:
During the day there is PLENTY of FREE Parking on the street. You don't need a permit or special pass. However, in the evening, or late night it can be difficult to find a spot near the house. You may have to park 1 or 2 blocks away. It is safe to walk from wherever you park to the house. On Thursdays and Fridays there is street cleaning from 10am to 12noon so you'll need to make sure you are parked on the correct side of the street on Thursdays and Fridays.
You have your own private entrance.
BBQ grill in the yard is available for your use.
Patio is for your enjoyment. We welcome your friends. Due to a Strict Legal Agreement with our neighbor, we ask that you do not block the driveway to unload your luggage. You can double-park on the Street and walk up the driveway.
Interaction with Guests
We are delighted to chat if you'd like. It's up to you! We enjoy meeting new people, and getting to know you, but if you'd rather keep to yourself, that's ok too. We want you to be comfortable.
We are usually out in the patio area with our dog in the afternoon for a little while, or sometimes we sit outside and have lunch.
This neighborhood is ECLECTIC to say the least. Within one square block, you can see million dollar Victorian homes, modern condominiums, and small apartment buildings. Residents range from artists, lawyers, to street vendors and bikers . Restaurants are organic, vegan, traditional Mexican and fast food. There's food for every budget and palette.
Many people in the neighborhood use public transportation. Walk 3 blocks to reach the buses that will take you to Downtown LA, Hollywood & Santa Monica. Six Major freeways are minutes away. However, this is LA - so a car rental is most convenient.
Other Things to Note
The bathroom is very small, and the toilet is right next to the sink. The bathroom sink is also tiny. The shower may feel a bit cramped, but it will make you clean if that's your goal! Please see photos so there are no surprises.
Most homes in the area have a shared driveway. Therefore, the driveway can NEVER be blocked. Not even for a quick 2 minutes. THERE IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT WITH OUR NEIGHBOR THAT CAN NEVER BE VIOLATED. Smoking is allowed in patio/yard area, not inside the trailer. We appreciate our guests respecting these two rules.
what a great, unique spot. Lucy & Flavio were so friendly. we'd see them occasionally and they were remarkably helpful and responsive and were never intrusive despite the fact that the trailer is in their backyard. they were kind enough to let us sling up a hammock right in front of the incredible view. Lucy's great about getting back to you super quick when you text her. the neighborhood is great and you can walk to a lot of great stuff. we had to go downtown a lot and the commute was a breeze. it's a really great jumping off point for a lot of points in the city. the best part... it was quiet and peaceful.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Lucy was a great, accommodating, welcoming host and the property was everything we hoped for. An stylish, well-appointed little trailer in a cool neighborhood; a commanding elevated view of the surrounding landscape that gave us prime viewing of a great sunset over Los Angeles, a lovely patio and fire pit -- the entire experience could not have been better.
My girlfriend and I spent one night in the cozy trailer and loved it. Lucy and her husband were both very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Amazing view and great place to stay for a night in LA. Couldn't have asked for anything more!
This was my first Airbnb stay. I was only there 2 nights. Lucy was welcoming and informative. I was a little confused about getting in the trailer but that was my misunderstanding. It's a great location and a great price. The trailer is great because it has all the accommodations of a private room but is even more private. There is a wonderful view.
Lucy is great! This is my second time staying here, it was just as awesome thistime as my first time. The views, the neighborhood, the hospitality, its all top notch, why would you stay anywhere else? My only regret this time is that, due to my schedule, I didn't have a chance to chat and catch up with her and Flavio, next time!
The trail is clean and comfortable, and the most important is it has a fantastic mountain view!!! Lucy is a great host, she helps me a lot! I highly recommended everyone who want to go to visit LA to choose Lucy's Trail!!!
I share this beautiful Old Edwardian home with my husband and two children. We are a family who love to travel and enjoy making guests feel comfortable and welcome. My background is Latin and my husband is Swiss so between us we speak 5 languages. I LOVE music and dancing and enjoying a glass of wine with friends. I cannot live without white rice! And I've spent the past six years trying to finish reading the classic "100 Years of Solitude".
