Our main idea in creating the Madonna di Pogi agri-campsite was to provide our guests with the opportunity to freely experience the Tuscan countryside, its nature, and, above all, its tranquillity.
This kind of opportunity is increasingly rare on the usual tourist circuits but we have made it possible on our farm:
There are 120,000 m2 of forest, fruit trees and cultivated land completely at your disposal, so that you can always find a quiet spot in the shade of an old oak tree to read a book or relax in a hammock, as well as sunbathe on the lawn after a refreshing dip in our lake.
Interaction with Guests
I'll be there every day, trying to make your holiday as pleasent as possible
Other Things to Note
if you want, you can help me to take fresh tomatoes or other vegetables from our garden or feed our hens
To preserve nature, you should respect her, i'm trying hard to do it
Really nice, well-built and comfortable camping in the middle of forest; very beautiful nature, there is a small lake. Near to Florence, Siena; less than 30 km from 'Rapolo terme' with a hot sulphureous waters and view of the Tuscan valley.
Stefano was really kind and very helpful host; responded very quickly.
I would certainly recommend staying this place.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It is clean the caravans are nice and Stefano is a great host.
The atmosphere is relaxed en quit. But there are a lot of things that you can do (if you want to)There is a pool and a lake witch are both very nice. And there are several good restaurants in the neighbourhood.
We absolutely recommend this place and would like to come back. Thanks to Stefano for a really pleasant stay!
We really liked our stay here.
Doable for those who come by train, which we did (Florence-Bucine €6 p.p. and takes an hour). Within reach of Cennina (by bike, available at the campsite), Siena and Perugia (by train).
The sanitary facility is clean and brand new. The lake is beautiful and perfect for a swim. We stayed in a wooden cabin, which has a basic kitchen and is a good option if you want to cook yourself.
Some things on the campsite are under construction (an additional sanitary facility, some huts, a raft for in the lake).
Stefano is nice, relaxed, helpful, a bit chaotic (in a good way), takes care about the environment and his guests, such as sharing the vegetables from his garden. We liked his sense of humor.
Stefano( the host) is a great bloke. The place is literally brand new and is an absolutely gorgeous place. We got a chance to look at all the accommodation available here and they are all hand made and we'll spaced out. The property has a pony and a goat which follow each other around as well as a tree plantation, very large dam and chickens.
Plenty of wildlife about, saw a few rabbits!
The property has a fantastic view and sunsets here are stunning.
A little hard to find, big oak Tree on the left at the top of a rise. But Stefano was more than welcoming throughout our stay.
If you want to experience chianti region and enjoy nature you need to stay here!
Experience this place before it become super busy and known. For now it's a hidden gem!
Enjoy! We will be back!
