We (2 adults and 3 children between 11 and 13) stayed at Laura's place earlier this week for 3 nights and were very pleased. Laura's apartment is conveniently located (very close to the Cipro metro: we bought a 3 day card for the Rome public transportation system and made extensive use of it). The apartment is nicely decorated and cosy + large enough to accomodate a family of our size. It has a small kitchen which we only used to prepare our breakfast. The kitchen area is in my opinion too small to eat a more elaborate meal with 5 - this is perhaps the only down side of the apartment. Laura has been very welcoming and responsive to questions, both by email and when we met F2F for the handover of the keys.
This place was very comfortable. Laura had everything in the house including iron, washing machine, full kitchen with a stocked fridge for a great breakfast, and the supermarket is right across on the left hidden very nicely! Anything that you might need to make your stay as comfortable as possible she had in the house. Sugar, salt, oil, pasta, breakfast pastries, milk for cappuccino, paper towels, napkins, butter and fantastic Italian jelly. Everything was absolutely amazing! Flat is located half a block away from the metro, 1O minute walk from the Vatican city, few minutes away from a great supermarket, grocery/liqueur store that is open late, and a bank across the street. Laura even called our cab to take us to the airport on time! She is a wonderful lady, hence the fantastic inviting apartment with a great terrace! We were so pleasantly surprised by such great hospitality! Highly recommend it when in Rome! Close to most sights by bus or a train and if u are traveling with kids it has a separate bed and a very comfy couch. Flat sleeps 4 people very comfortably. It was great overall experience for two of us. We would definitely book it again. Laura is one of a kind, caring and wonderful intelligent Italian lady! Oh BTW! There is an elevator in the building as well. But as we mentioned before, ..this apartment had everything u can possibly need!! Five stars over all!! Very impressed! Thank You Laura!
Awesome place and location. Place was just like in the photos. Everything was provided as well. Great host, very helpful - Laura was very helpful and her place was perfect as it was one station past the Vatican stop and in the locals area so you got the real feel of Rome. Everything was within 3 minutes - metro, buses, supermarket, restaurants, etc. We needed a taxi to the airport for an early flight out and Laura arranged the whole transaction. I'd stay here again on next visit. Two Thumbs up.
Thank you Laura for being such a welcoming host. We really enjoyed our time in Roma and found the apartment to be a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was great and we have absolutely no negative comments at all. As mentioned in the description, it is very conveniently located to the Cipro metro stop and an easy walk to the Vatican. And not only is there a very close grocery store right around the corner, but we also happily discovered that it is a short 10 minute walk to the huge Trionfale Market which is a particularly nice place to shop for fresh food.
Laura's flat was perfect for our party of 5 (3 adults and 2 children). It was very clean. The space was utilized very well. The location was perfect. A very short walk to get on the metro. Laura was also very prompt, warm, and generous. We would definitely stay here again.
A very charming place that looks exactly as depicted in the pictures. Perfect location and fully equipped apartment! Steps from the Cipro stop, a grocery store and a 10 minute walk to the Vatican. Laura provides everything you need (plates, cups, utensils, bottle of water, some snacks, laundry detergent, WIFI and much much more). Thank you Laura for a wonderful stay! We will definitely stay with you when we visit Roma again! Laura also waited to meet us after our train was delayed! She is very kind and has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable! Grazie mille!
Laura was prompt in answering her emails, and showed up as promised to let us in. Property was in a very convenient location (to subway, Vatican, Carrefour market) and in clean, working order. She had forgotten to offer us the use of AC (5 Euro/day) and sofa bed, but quickly gotten back to us on that. And while the sofa bed did not fold out initially she (her husband) fixed it by the following am. She was friendly, courteous, and respectful of our privacy and needs, and the price is great considering the season (mid June) and how much it costs elsewhere. We (4 people) had stayed in run down B&B's and hotels for more $ in Venice, Florence and Siena, and Laura's place (and what most offerings on Airbnb) blows it away by far. So for future travel we will definitely look to Airbnb first, and Laura's place if we were to return here someday.
I stayed in 3 Airbnb apartments while travelling and this was the best one. Very close to the metro and steps away from the Vatican. The place is very spacious. The decor makes the place feel very cozy. I stayed in one night and really enjoyed just resting here.
Laura was a great host. She was waiting for us when we got there and made arrangements for a taxi to pick us up when we left. If I go back to Rome, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
Laura is a wonderful host and her flat is great!
Laura waited outside for us upon our arrival. She graciously checked us in and explained the ins and outs of the flat. She also gave us tourist tips etc. she was easy to communicate with and prompt.
Flat was clean, great location (cipro metro), kitchen stocked with essentials, safe, market nearby.
I recommend as I will return myself!
Laura was very nice! She was waiting for us at the apartment even though our train was a little late getting into Rome. The apartment was very clean and I loved that she provided little snacks, water, etc. The bed was really comfortable. The apartment was right off the metro stop. That was very convenient in regards to getting around Rome to sightsee. Vatican City was a short walking distance away. The only hiccup was at checkout. Apparently the downstairs neighbor complained that we were using the washing machine at 1 am? And rang his doorbell late at night? Neither of which was true. Overall, a great stay in a good location! I would definitely recommend this apartment for future visitors!
