Interaction with Guests
I will be there to check you in and show you around the studio, plus offer tips on where to go and what to see in the beautiful city of San Francisco!
Nob Hill is a great neighborhood, central to just about everything!
Everything you need to enjoy daily life is within a block of the apartment. Get your morning coffee at Contraband coffee just 2 doors down. Shop for healthy groceries at Trader Joe's across the street or Whole Foods just a few blocks away. Dry cleaner on the corner and laundry in the building. There are lots of great bars around the corner such as Wreck Room, Soda Popinski's, and Hyde Out. Polk Street bars just a few blocks away!
Great food is just at your door stop as well, with every kind of food from thai, to sushi, steak houses, and seafood.
Navigate the city or even the greater Bay Area with ease and style in a 2013 Mini Cooper or 2014 Smart Car! Both cars are great on gas milage, space efficient and have a parking permit to park in the neighborhood. Use a car to take a day trip to Santa Cruz, go hiking in Muir Woods, or even lay out at Stinson beach!
Car rental is not included in studio rental. Car rental is done through a community car sharing site, for an additional $8/hr for the Mini Cooper or $6/hr for the Smart Car which includes insurance. Must have US Driver's license or International Driver's Permit and be at least 19 years of age or older.
But for the most popular San Francisco sightseeing, you will not need a car! Chinatown, Union Square, Fisherman's Warf and Financial District are just a 15-20 minute walk away. Taking the cable car or bus could get you to these destinations in just 5-10minutes.
If you have an Apple or Andriod phone, I have free ride vouchers from local ride sharing services Lyft and Uber for door to door rides for free!
Public transportation is also easy and at your feet. Cable car line in down the street and so is the 1 and 19 bus line. Civic Center BART is just down the hill on Larkin.
Other Things to Note
Breakfast is included for each guest: Granola, oatmeal, almond milk and orange juice.

Honor and Zack's apartment was perfect for us. Very comfortable, lots of room for the two of us and in a fantastic location. It had everything we needed, we loved it!
This little one bedroom/studio (it's somewhere in between) flat has all you could want for a stay in San Francisco. Cosy but with enough space to spread out. We stayed for 5 nights in June.
It is located a few doors down from the California St cable car line, plus other public transport options and has a supermarket nearby, too. If you decide to walk around, as we did most days, wear good shoes and it's only a 20-30 minute walk to the waterfront. I can't stress "good" shoes enough, shoes that were otherwise comfortable for me on flat ground didn't quite cut it with San Francisco's hills.
The flat itself has two comfortable beds and a fully outfitted kitchen, which was kindly stocked with some basics (detergent, sponge, butter, breakfast cereal etc). The desk has a detailed map of the city on it, with public transport routes highlighted. A couple of clipper cards were also there (but we didn't use them). Wifi and a TV are also supplied. There's also a laundry in the building (coin operated) if you need it.
The coffee shop just to the right of the door (as you exit) makes a mean coffee, too, to get you going in the morning.
If I need to stay in San Francisco again and this flat is available, I would book it again without a thought.
Lovely location, really safe neighborhood. Key access was made easier because my daughter and her husband drove us to the key and back to the apartment. Lyft later help get us around!. Liked the location near the California streetcar. No coffee allowed on the car though! Wonder what the neighbor does at night upstairs. Sounds like moving books and furniture most nights! Other sounds minimized. bed comfy and coffee and really great guide books. i did the hike near the Prosidio only start at #18! then it is all downhill.
Nice leaving coffee and blue transit ticket to get started. Trader Joes down the street though and drugstores near by. Bring sweaters and coats. Ballgame great! and local eateries nearby all good. Thanks for the good time!
Great location and great property. I really enjoyed my visit. Everything was on hand and straightforward key collection. Thanks
The apartment was beautiful and Adam was so helpful throughout the entire stay. The room was perfect for a weekend getaway. Location was close to many restaurants and activities it even had a cute and delicious coffee shop located directly downstairs! Would definitely book again!
Wonderful weekend! Everything was as described. Super helpful and attentive.
This was our first Airbnb experience and it was excellent! Our host was wonderful and very prompt in responding to questions prior to our stay. Once we arrived, all details/instructions were clearly noted and there was no need to contact the hosts. The apartment was clean, well furnished and met our needs. Although, plenty of breakfast fixings were available, we opted to enjoy brunch across the street at Olea, which we'd highly recommend. For as noisy as the big City is at night, we were very pleased how quiet it was at the apartment. Overall great experience and we look forward to returning!

About the Host, H & Z
We are a young couple who met while traveling in Latin America. I have lived in the Bay Area for 8 years, and my boyfriend has just moved here from Australia. We decided to plant ourselves in San Francisco because it was a city we both know and love. San Francisco has both the beauty of nature, urban excitement and great dining, which we love to share with our guests. Hosting has been such a great experience, we also started hosting for friends and family!
