Interaction with Guests
there is always someone avalible for any guest needs or information
set in a quiet location 5 min walk to the city this is an ideal location to be close to town and yet far enough away to relax after a day sightseeing or evening out
all guests are welcome to come and go as they please we just ask that all guests have consideration for each other
Location was a little difficult to find with the GPS, but locals were very helpful. Location was good and felt safe with free street parking. Stephen was not entirely responsive to emails so it was difficult for those from the States w/o a SIM card that worked there. Front door lock set needs to be repaired or replaced as it was difficult to open. Our room was clean, but some towels were stained (they seemed clean). Shower stall needs to be cleaned better (excessive mildew on caulking) and floor drain needs to be cleared (slow drainage). Bedroom was crowded with too much furniture (3 beds were in there; I think it was being temporarily stored there). Shower head did not fit securely so it was difficult to aim it. There was no rack/shelving in shower so soap and shampoo had to be out on the shower floor. Mirror was too high for shorter guests and there were no outlets in the bathroom.
Note, be on-time for breakfast, not even a minute late if you want anything.
Serendipity B&B is easy to be found in 15 min walking distance from the Foyle Street bus station.. It is lovely furnitured with many details and we enjoyed a fantastic view over the city. Its in an old building and thus very charming. The linen always slipped off the bed but that's the only negative point about the B&B.
Bnb is located close to the center of the city, only a 5 minute walk lacated on a quiet street. The room was small but had a nice view of the city. The room was clean but neither of the lamps worked and a cooked breakfast wasnt included in the price.
Thanks for the review shane, we are glad you had a nice stay, sorry about the lamps, we would have sorted that had we known, cooked breakfast is not included however a full and extensive range is available for continental and should be more than enough to fill any hungry traveller for the day ahead, we hope you both had a good onward trip, many thanks
We were moved to another BnB of this host (Angel house, just across the street), because apparently a group of people booked after us and wanted to stay together. We were not notified of this until we arrived. The room there was small but fine, the breakfast average (dirty knife, but otherwise allright, 'Irish' breakfast costs extra, we did not opt for this). All together it was nothing special, neither really good or bad.
