Santa Monica Treehouse by Ocean! wi

Treehouse - Entire home/apt · 10th St, Santa Monica, CA 90405, United States

The Space

Take it from one of our great reviews (THANK YA KEN!!) :

"This is a great location. In a couple of blocks, you can walk to a supermarket, a dry cleaners, a coin operated laundry, a haircut place, a Bank of America ATM, a Starbucks and a McDonalds. Whole Foods is about 0.3 miles away. And it’s about a mile’s walk to the beach. Main Street with its shops and cafes is a couple of blocks closer.

The neighborhood feels safe and, while it’s only a block from Lincoln Blvd, it is surprisingly quiet.

Lincoln Blvd is a major street that takes you to Venice Beach, Marina Del Ray and LAX to the South and to I-10 and the Pacific Coast Highway to the North.

The “Treehouse” is comfortable with 2 bedrooms with Queen beds. The Living Room is comfy and is set up for easy viewing of the large flat screen TV with Apple TV. The house also has WiFi."

  • Roxane's place is truly wonderful) I absolutely recommend it, Alan is very helpful and nice guy)

  • We didn't met Roxane because she was in Texas but she answered to all our questions very quickly.
The flat is nice, comfortable and well located between Santa Monica and Venice Beach.
Too bad that the flat was quite dirty (dust, bathroom, ...)

  • The house is really well located and is nicely decorated. However, only 2 days in, we discovered that the house had lices. We worked with the owner to get things resolved but it was not a smooth process. We had to request a thorough inspection multiple times before she agreed to get things done.

  • This place is AMAZING! Roxane was beyond friendly and treated me like family. I was shown everything from the hiking trail at Will Rogers Park to the Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival at the Hollywood Forever Cemetary. I got to see so much of Santa Monica that it felt like I'd been there a month and not a week.

Every guest in Roxane's house is family, the atmosphere is warm, the cats are fun and the area is safe and friendly. Roxane can cook up a storm and knows how to make the apartment a place to relax after seeing the town. My whole family think Roxane and her fantastic apartment are just the best!

  • We never met Roxanne, but her Assistent Allen makes a very well job.The house is really well located between Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Unfortunately, the apartment was very Dirty and the legacies of the previous tenants reduce the impression.

  • Roxy was great. I rented the place for a colleague and we had our schedules constantly changing.. but Roxy made it easy for us. The apartment was nice and clean... nicely taken care of. Highly recommended.

Roxane was pleasant and easy to work with. All in all, we very much enjoyed our time here and would come back again.

  • We stayed at her place for 15 days. The stay was very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped to prepare meals, The beds were comfortable and the living room was pretty comfortable too. The location is great. We were able to use her two bikes to ride to the beach, restaurants or to the gym. The 10 freeway access was easy as well. Roxane was very easy to deal with, we communicated via text message. If I had a question (which I had many... SORRY ROXANE!) she was quick to respond. Checking in... and Checking out was made easy. She has a friend (Patsy) that lives across the street who was very helpful too.

The reason for the 4 star versus the 5 star rating was because of the lack of washer and dryer... We haven't had to go to a laundromat in years! hahaha... ohh well, no big deal. And the learn as we go phase when we first got in... such as asking where this is, that is etc... instead of having it on a sheet of paper, I kept having to call her... Which I didnt mind, but felt like I was bothering her. After figuring out the little things... It was like we were house sitting a friend's apartment! Simply put, we were comfortable!

Overall, our stay here was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again!

About
Austin, Texas native, moved to Los Angeles about 8 years ago. Work in television as a casting director and producer. LOVE the beach, hiking/biking along the ocean to the restaurants that run the 20 miles up and along the Santa Monica, Venice, Manhattan Beach boardwalk. I am clean and keep my home as my sanctuary. I can't live without white cheddar popcorn. I've traveled to Spain, New Zealand, London, Scotland, Costa Rica and often go to Mexico as it's only 3 hours away from home. I like to host my place, but also like being a guest and allowing others to show me "the way".
