About this listing
2 bedroom - 1 bath home available. Beautiful home with 60 inch Samsung Smart TV which includes Netflix, apps, etc.
You'll love walking to the beach. Very calm and quiet.
One of our great reviews from a guest:
"This is a great location. In a couple of blocks, you can walk to a supermarket, a dry cleaners, a coin operated laundry, a haircut place, a Bank of America ATM, a Starbucks and a McDonalds. Whole Foods is about 0.3 miles away. And it’s about a mile’s walk to the beach. Main Street with its shops and cafes is a couple of blocks closer.
The neighborhood feels safe and, while it’s only a block from Lincoln Blvd, it is surprisingly quiet.
Lincoln Blvd is a major street that takes you to Venice Beach, Marina Del Ray and LAX to the South and to I-10 and the Pacific Coast Highway to the North.
The “Treehouse” is comfortable with 2 bedrooms with Queen beds. The Living Room is comfy and is set up for easy viewing of the large flat screen TV with Apple TV. The house also has WiFi."

We enjoyed our stay here. The "Treehouse" location is fabulous--a walk to Santa Monica Beach, and up on a hill with great sea breezes. And Ocean Park is a hopping place these days. The apartment was cozy. Because this is one of the most economical rentals in Santa Monica near the beach, the amenities are few (no cable TV, no kitchen or dining room table, no drip coffee maker, no iron or ironing board). That's a perfectly fine tradeoff for travelers on a budget. The hosts were out of town during our stay but tried their best to be available to us when we had questions.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We love our treehouse and cater to ourselves as we cater to our guests. The location is for EVERYONE! Easy for restaurants, cleaning/drycleaning, postal, groceries and all. As times have changed we updated the home with Smart TV's in each room (with access to Netflix, HBO GO and most recently looking at Amazon Prime), in March we purchased a Nespresso ($300) VERY HIGH END coffee/espresso maker so our guests providing the cups at our expense so guests can enjoy a real cup of coffee or espresso, whatever they wish. The coffee table lifts up into a dining table so when seated on couch or bench people can dine around. I am unsure if this information was given to you, but I apologize if not. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and would love to host again.
We stayed in that place and it was just awesome, your at home that's it. plus Roxane & Derek are really cool, they have give us access to absolutely every thing !! what you see on the picture is what you get. Honestly if we have to return to Santa Monica we will return there !
Just be aware that you have to park your car in the same way the road is going if not you risk a fine...(don't have this problem in France)
The neighborhood is really nice, the beach is close but you will need a car or a bicycle to get there.
To sum up that's a really good place
I'm so happy we stayed at Roxy's place. She and her husband are so funny and helpful. You are in good hands with them. The location is so nice...close to the pier and beaches and quite the same time.
Totally will recommend to a friend.
Next time I'm here, I'll stay at Santa Monica for sure.
Thank you so much, guys!
My hosts always went the extra mile to make me feel at home in their cozy apartment in Santa Monica. That's why I extended my original stay there an additional two weeks. My kind hosts, Roxane and Derek even took me out for a delicious meal at The Galley on Main Street, which was a real treat.
I'd still be there if they hadn't had a prior booking and will definitely return, given the opportunity.
Once again, AirBNB and it's selection of fine properties comes through!
I enjoyed my stay at this cozy and well situated property so much, I extended my stay for double the time. The neighborhood is quiet and the location allows for immediate access to necessary shopping (food, clothes washing, restaurants, et al). I have a new business investment in Santa Monica and enjoy the work from tis location, as well as the proximity of the Ocean, less than a mile down Ocean Park Blvd.
Good communication, easy check in and check out, easy parking, clean and nice place, good location!
Roxane and Alan are great! They made everything feel right at home and hassle free. The listing was accurately described, and we got a great place in Santa Monica. Would recommend again!

About the Host, Roxane
Austin, Texas native, moved to Los Angeles about 8 years ago. I work in television as a Vice President Of Talent & Casting for TV/Film Company. LOVE the beach, hiking/biking along the ocean to the restaurants that run the 20 miles up and along the Santa Monica, Venice, Manhattan Beach boardwalk. I am clean and keep my home as my sanctuary. I can't live without white cheddar popcorn. I've traveled to Spain, New Zealand, London, Scotland, Costa Rica and often go to Mexico as it's only 3 hours away from home. I like to host my place, but also like being a guest and allowing others to show me "the way".
