The space
Located on the 2nd floor, this light, airy and elegant apartment, with fabulous high ceilings throughout, comprises a beautiful Colonial lounge and dining area leading to a large balcony; a well-equipped kitchenette for guest use and 3 charming and well-appointed bedrooms, all with lovely and contemporary ensuite bathrooms. In true Cuban style, the house is connected by a balcony style exterior passageway.

The accommodation has been restored and refurbished to a fabulous standard with great attention to detail and a quality of interior rarely found in Cuba. Its elegant décor is further enhanced by the soft and atmospheric lighting from our many lovingly renovated antique bronze and crystal chandeliers / wall lights; combined with our imaginatively and quirkily repurposed and reutilised original features and furnishings.

Yes, you will still know it’s Cuba! Our feature ‘Shabby Chic’ original doors and windows are a testament to the difficulties of obtaining good quality paints and varnishes and this is one product we can’t just pop in a suitcase! Trust us we’ve tried!

Our lovingly and painstakingly renovated Colonial style apartment, is a true and rare gem in the heart of the original Italian district of vibrant Central Havana. Providing a tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle that the area is so famous for.

We are just around the corner from two of Habana’s most famous restaurants ‘San Cristobal’ (frequented by Obama, JLo & Sting amongst others) and ‘La Gaurida’ as well as a great ‘Locals' Piano Bar, attached to the famous ‘Egrem’ studios and Casa de La Musica Galiano both of which have truly memorable live performances.

We are a also just a few minutes walk from the Malecon, Parque Central, Prado, and many of the iconic and beautiful city sites, galleries, museums, restaurants, shops and Top Hotels that make up Central and Old Havana

Other things to note
Remember in Cuba there are a few factors to consider that you probably don’t need to worry about back home. Although rare, we do on occasion suffer from power cuts and interruptions to water supplies. We do everything we can to minimise any impacts but be prepared to use water sparingly when requested.

You should also note that the Caribbean does have a hurricane season. Cuba is very good at managing the risks but there are occasions when mandatory evacuations are enforced.
Although improving all the time, please be aware that the internet will not be what you are used to at home and can also be intermittent.

Having built contemporary homes, restored and renovated older properties within Europe, I have particularly loved and am especially proud of what we have achieved here in Cuba, despite of, or most probably because of, the challenges involved.

We love sharing our home and hope that all our guests truly enjoy their stay in our Casa as much as we did in creating it and just ask that our home be treated with respect and care for the benefit and enjoyment of all our future guests.

During your stay

We do our upmost to make your stay special and memorable and look forward to helping you make the most of your visit.

As well as being home from home for our guests, the Casa is also very much our home and as such we like to maintain regular contact with all our guests after check-in, to ensure that they have the best of times. However, we also like to respect your privacy and understand that some people prefer to be more independent. We have people available on site everyday from 8:00am to 8:00pm but can also provide support outside these times.

On that note, we are also able to help you squeeze the most out of your time in Havana with our bespoke concierge service. As well as organizing individual activities both within Havana and beyond, we can create and organise a comprehensive personalised Itinerary in advance of your arrival for the period of your stay. Obviously, your individual itinerary would need the benefit of understanding any particular interests you might have, versus relaxation time you would be looking at but in case you might be interested in this, we can provide a sample draft itinerary that hopefully gives you a good taste of the kind of service we offer.
