Welcome to our magical place! The view on this secluded vineyard hideaway is stunning and well worth the drive.

The rolling vineyards studded by ancient oaks provide for a perfect setting for a romantic weekend, while the well-appointed and spacious vineyard home also lends itself for a longer vacation to explore the beautiful region. The cherry on top is the pool with a top-of-the world view!

Carmel Valley Village is 15 mins away with award winning wine tasting and gourmet restaurants.

The space
The spacious mid-century-modern home's open floorpan living area extends seamlessly to the pool deck overlooking the sweeping landscape.

The spacious Master Suite features a king-sized bed with a memory foam mattress, an en-suite bath, a sitting area with a twin-sized sofa bed, a private screened-in deck and direct entry to the pool area directly from the Master Bath.

The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and an extra twin-sized sofa bed and its own en-suite bathroom and its own private sundeck overlooking mountains and meadows.

The fully equipped kitchen, combined with a bar and dining area for 6-8 people will make meal times a joy. The gourmet gas grill on the pool deck is naturally also available for guest use.

The Pool House, which is available as an add-on for an additional fee, hosts a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, its own separate entrance, a private deck, a direct access to the pool, as well as its own private living room currently configured with 2 twin beds. The Pool House is available as an add on to the rental for the full duration of the visit; it is not available as a separate unit.

The charming Carmel Valley village, with its 21 tasting rooms, is mere 15 minutes away; Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea and Monterey can all be reached within 35 minutes.

As per google (so it must be true), Carmel Valley is "a sublime pastoral river valley nestled into the towering Santa Lucia range, and is one of the finest wine growing regions in California." While it may sound too poetic to be true, I must admit that the description is pretty accurate, which explains why we fell in love with the place the first time we visited.

Things to do in Carmel Valley include:
- Hiking: Garland Ranch, Los Padres National Forest, and of course down the coast.
- Wine tasting: All 19 tasting rooms in Carmel Valley Village are charming and worth the visit.
- Vineyard tours: Folktale, Holman Ranch, Bernadus, Joullian and many more.
- Fantastic food: Cafe Rustica, Roux, Corkscrew Cafe, Lucia, Valley, Running Iron...just too many to name them all!
- Golf, mountain biking, spas, horseback riding, and other fun stuff in abundance too.

During your stay

The house, including the pool area and all the decks, is completely private and not visible to/from the other home on the gated 100 acre property. We will provide guests with the gate code and entry instructions.
