The cabin was amazing. Easy check-in and check-out, nice and big for 2 couples & 5 others. Fantastic location pretty close to town but at the top of a little peak and towards the end of a dead-end road. Plenty of parking. The jacuzzi was clean and hot (though not huge). Awesome huge porch. All around, a wonderful place to stay.
We had a group of six and loved our visit! A quick drive to downtown Gatlinburg and the cabin was amazing. The driveway is steep, so take warning, my first time driving up I bottomed out, but if you drive toward the side you'll be fine. The cabin was very spacious and accommodating. Two thumbs up for Josh!
This cabin is fantastic.
Wonderful location!!! Feels secluded, yet still very close to downtown, as well as a nice grocery store just a couple minutes away. The outside of the cabin is absolutely lovely, and would be a great place to just hang out all day if desired, with a large deck, gazebo, an attached structure with a porch swing and a smoker, as well as a hot tub (which was great) smartly placed behind a privacy fence that faces the only nearby cabin. Inside, the furniture is nice, cable TV in basically every room, pool table downstairs (a little on that below), and the master bedroom (which is HUGE with a full wall of windows) and main floor bathrooms both have jacuzzi tubs. Most of the beds are extremely comfortable. The sheer number of huge windows in this place keep you feeling very in touch with your surroundings.
Overall this house was amazing, and both of our families agreed that if we ever decided to come back to Gatlinburg, we'd definitely like to return to this place. Heart's Desire is a very fitting name.
Convenient location when you have a car, easy check-in, lots of amenities. Cabin is as shown.
Josh was easy to contact and fast to respond. Everything was exactly as stated in the listing. We decided to go during the big "ice storm" that hit and Josh was very upfront letting us know the driveway and stairways would be icy. We were able to park on the road and no one fell on the stairs so it was a win :) The hot tub was fabulous and the cabin is super spacious for all the guests we had (13 total!) The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, silverware, plates, etc. We cooked every meal and it was wonderful getting to stay in the cabin for the weekend. Thanks for all your help Josh! We enjoyed our stay!!

About the Host, Josh
One of my favorite destinations is the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and North Carolina. The Appalachian Trail is an awesome way to see it, but I love to travel by car so I can be more spontaneous, stopping at colorful roadside attractions, or discover an amazing natural site, maybe a hidden waterfall or wildlife.
