The exact adress is :
Vila Surya Abadi,
We haven't an exactly adress and no description, so it was very hard to find.
The service was really bad, because the guy doesn't speak english.
We want to rent a scooter but the breaks didn't work.
The Villa is 15-20 min. away from the beach (by scooter).
The place and the room is nice.
It was the second time we stayed at suryia abadi in canggu. Ghe aera is really nice and quiet, far from noisy kuta and seminyak, ablut 15min drive. This time we had a room upstairs, and it was even better. Staff is helpfull, and nice. U can rent motorbike and arrange airport pick up for 25$. In general for this price category the place is good. Brekkies are basic but get your own wheels and there s plenty nasi campur around
I spent good times in this beautiful place! My room was great also staff helped me with all needs nicely. I reccomend it!
Morgan's place is a hidden gem. Quiet and peaceful place. A nice view of the paddy field.
It was exactly as we expected and we enjoyed it. It's a little difficult to find at first, but once inside it's a nice little oasis. The scenery and environment from the lounge/pool/dining area are great - we relaxed there for quite a while. It's close to Echo beach (10-15 min drive) with great BBQ and surf.
The rooms are clean and a good size. We didn't have any issues in the rooms or with the checkin process. The only issue was that some of the staff were a bit brash.
Overall a great place to stay! Highly recommend.
The room and pool were very nice, however there were somethings about this place that weren't fabulous. It rained a lot when we were there and the bathroom ceiling leaked a lot. Not just little drops, it was like indoor rain, however this wouldn't be an issue most of the year.
The view is no longer rice paddies. The villas look over a muddy field where there is construction happening, in the future, I suspect the property will just have a view of other buildings.
Also, it should be noted that breakfast is not included. It does say that in the listing even though the heading says 'b & b'. The breakfast is not very good anyways, which is a shame because it is a bit of a journey to any of the nearby restaurants.
All in all, its alright if you are planning on laying by the pool all day and ordering food in, but next time I would choose something closer to the beach with a nicer view.
The Surya Abadi is in an amazing spot - it's really beautiful and relaxing (apart from the construction currently underway next door!). The rooms are large & kept clean & the staff very friendly & helpful. Unfortunately the location was not as advertised and I found it was more like a 20min ride to Batu Belig, rather than the 5-10 minutes which I was reassured by Morgan.
