Julien was a very helpful host who gave us an introduction of the place and the things around Marrakech. Afaf was a great and cooked us breakfast which was delicious. We enjoyed our time and the accommodation is fantastic with big bedrooms and plenty of showers. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and it is a couple of minutes walk from the main square. Fantastic accommodation, host, housekeeper - 10 out of 10!
Very nice Riyadh. Afaf was nice and very helpful. She went to the market with us and helped us barging good prices for Moroccan clothes. Jollen is very nice as well. He booked us a trip to the atlas with very good driver. The riyadh is in a great safe area. Very close to the souk
Bernard's son Julien met us at the Riad and he was very kind and helpful from the beginning. He provided us with information about the Riad and explained the main sights of Marrakech with a map. The Riad is nice and the bedrooms are spacious. Unfortunately the terrace (with a comfortable seating area) has no great view. Afaf, the housekeeper made us breakfast and once cooked us a dinner of fish Tajine, which was very tasty (for a reasonable extra charge). We enjoyed our stay there. Many thanks for the hospitality!!!
Bernard is a very responsive host. His son Julian met us at the Riad, and was very helpful in providing us with information about the Riad and Marrakech. The location of the Riad was good - the square and the souks were east of us and the new town, big groceries, and garden were just west of us. Most things were within a 10 to 25 minute walk. The Riad is nicely decorated, and is laid out with a bathroom, kitchen, a bedroom with a private bath, and a couple sitting rooms on the first floor. There is a spiral staircase going upstairs to a second bedroom with a spare bedroom and private bath. The bedrooms are very spacious. The spiral continues to a nice terrace on the top, with one section a covered area. The terrace is enclosed with comfortable seating. (No view)
The housekeeper made us breakfast of Maroc pancakes for two mornings, and french toast our last. She cooked a dinner of chicken Tanjine for us one night as well, that was very tasty. (Extra charge, very reasonable). We enjoyed our stay there.
i booked for Bernard's riad about one week before my trip to Marrakesh with 4 friends and he was extremely helpful and communicative.
His son Julien took care of our transfer from the airport with a local driver. The riad is beautiful, strategically located near the medina, clean and bright, it show a great taste of his owner in funitures and accessoires. Also we were welcomed with a great mint tea, by the houselady, which also provided breakfast. Julien was also very informative with a quick jump-in tour directions and maps. Finally, for those who really need it, there is also a flat tv with satellite decoder, but you're not going to Marrakesh to watch tv, are you? Definitely higly recommended!
Everything was perfect and as expected. Riad is near to the center and you can move by walk.
Thanks for the hospitality.
