About this listing

Un cadre intimiste, une ambiance chaleureuse et un espace à l’image d’un petit palais oriental, voilà ce que représente ce petit bijou en plein cœur de l’ancienne Médina de rabat.

An intimate setting, a warm atmosphere and a space like a small Oriental palace, this is what this little gem represents in the heart of the old Medina of Rabat.

The space

Thoughtfully renovated in a warm and contemporary approach with a great attention to details from famous Moroccan artworks,

The cozy size of the Riad offers the best atmosphere possible from a very special place to stay in Rabat.

Each of the guestrooms has been designed in a personalized way and elegantly decorated in-spired by lively colors and modern comfort, keeping though, a Moroccan atmosphere.

The limited number of rooms, intimate patio at the center of the riyad disposes of some coffee and tea time tables to chill out.

The rooftop terraces (with a large view on the old medina of Rabat) disposes of sofas to enjoy sunny Morocco, have conferred the right intimacy for cool vacations, the perfect hide-way to discover and take pleasure in Rabat…

The riad is perfectly situated as it is in the very center of the old medina, which is 5 minutes away from the town center and the taxi/buses gates and the trmway; but also 5 minutes away from the Kasbah des Oudayas and the beach of Rabat !

Guest access

Coming from the Rabat train station station (Avenue Mohamed V), you can go to the old Medina by foot or by taxis (check the map in the photos gallery).

1. If you take a blue cab, ask him to drive you to the "Rue des Consuls" at the Pharmacy des Oudayas, in front of the "Casbah des Oudayas". (Price 10 or 15dhs), look on the map. In case your are lost call us and we pick you up. Please don't go to the Police Station, they don't like.

2. If you go by foot, this is the way. Go straight In Mohammed 5 avenue to the Medina, (+- 10 minutes). In front of the Medina go to the Door Bab Bouiba (its on your right, 100 meters, check the map in the photos gallery).

You enter the Medina through that door (BOUIBA) and you walk straight up +- 300m in the "Sidi Fateh" street. Then you arrive at the Hotel Renaissance and then you turn right in the Faran Zitouna / Boukroune street. This is the vegetable market street. Go to the end of the street, you are very close, there is a branch, stay on the left side and turn on the 2nd small street.

You are in the "Impasse des Ouzzahra", the entrance of the Riad is on the first small black iron door on the left. You can go the door number 1 or ring from the street.

Very beautiful and quite riad in medina. The house keeping is very warm hearted although she can't speak English. The room is comfortable and stylish but the towel provided is too hard to use. The breakfast only has pancakes and one egg maybe not worth 50dh. The host will tell you everything about how to arrive at the place, there is no difficulty finding it.

Room and the house as a whole is nicely renovated in a mixed Morocco-modern style. Great courtyard and balcony. It was nice to have such a well-equipped kitchen, though I wasn't around long enough to make much use of it. This is in the medina and it is a riad, with a number of other rooms, and depending on the mix of guests and events in the medina, it can go from tranquil to noisy.

The room was beautiful decorated but damp so there was some mildew on the wall. Still a nice and central place to stay. Breakfast is not included.

Nice, cosy, beautiful riad. It's right in the old medina - a great location if you don't mind wandering the small back streets. Host was lovely and the breakfast delicious.

We were satisfied with our stay. Our room was lovely and cozy. Only negative thing was that there was no bathroom door. In addition, breakfast offered in riad was expensive compared to the other ones. However, they had a great kitchen for the guests.
