About this listing
Please send me a message of interest before sending a booking request! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Located on Rose ave, one of the best streets in Venice beach this is a cute, sunny, fully furnished one bedroom Venice beach apartment all to yourself! This place is perfect for exploring Venice by foot or bike. It's only blocks from all the top venice restaurants, abbot kinney, a few blocks from the beach and whole foods is 2 blocks away.
This is an adorable one bedroom in a PRIME location. Hardwood floors, Wireless Internet, and a parking spot.
Although this is listed in the amenities section, I have realized people don't always check so please note: There is no TV, Microwave or Air Conditioning. Mostly in Venice you don't need air con. Laundry is coin operated and in the building. There is a parking spot but it's small. If you are renting a car you might want to consider a smaller size car. Check in time is after 3pm and check out before 11am. If you wish different times, please let me know and I will try to accommodate you when possible. The place is located on Rose but not right on the street so it's not too loud but there can be noise from time to time. Please be aware that although Rose is being gentrified at a very fast rate (meaning tons of awesome shops and restaurants at your door), there is still some elements of old-school Venice grit. I have never had any issues with safety and if anything, it's just very colorful people. This is typical of all areas of Venice.
Below are a few of my favorite things in the hood. Everything listed is either walking or biking distance.

Other Things to Note
Locanda al Leon 2
Linens and Towels included. No Smoking, pets, children, eating in the bed, or shoes in the house. No incense or candles in the bedroom, as a guest burned a hole in my curtain. This is where I live so please be respectful of the space. Please no partying or bringing non-registered guests into the house. I'm looking for chill like minded people who will bring good energy to my space and are looking for a nice place to stay.
Apartment got very hot during our stay and the fan in the bedroom only turned very slowly. Other than that, the stay was very nice. Excellent location, cute space. Perhaps having a stronger fan could solve any potential issues during the summer
Meredith was wonderfully communicative, friendly, and a fantastic host. Her sweet place made us feel very welcome and relaxed, and was perfect for our Venice getaway. We felt like we walked away with a new friend.
This was a repeat visit. Everything was as cozy and convenient as the first time I stayed. Thanks, Meredith.
Meredith was awesome to deal with and super helpful. We booked very last minute and Meredith accommodated (even though she was camping with no reception!). We arrived is the wee hours of the morning and the check in process was super easy and simple. Meredith checked in multiple times just to make sure we were still on track. The place itself was perfect. Location was great. Short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, or bike rentals for the extended trek. Onsite parking was huge. We didn't move our car the entire weekend. The parking spot is small as Meredith states but works if you can fit. The apartment has everything you need and a great vibe. There isn't a TV in the place which I thought was a plus. Love the little community there. Would stay again for sure...
Meredith's apartment is the perfect place to stay in Venice, I love it! It has lots of character with a very local feel. It's also very practical and comfortable, with everything you could need. It's just 6 blocks from Venice Beach, 4 blocks from Main St and 4 blocks from the bus stop for Santa Monica. It's also right next to Groundwork (very important if, like me, you're a coffee addict) and just a few minutes walk from Wholefoods.
It's an ideal place to stay if you're visiting Venice, and Meredith is a warm and welcoming host.
Beautiful and peaceful apartment in a super location. Was looking for something central but also removed from busy areas and this was perfect. Really close to the beach and also some great restaurants, cafes and shops (one of the biggest wholefoods in California 5 mins away). Our host Meredith was wonderful - made us feel so welcome and was extremely flexible and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend and next time Im in LA will be going back!
Fantastic place, clean, comfortable and a great vibe. One of my fave AirBnB stays ever. Location couldn't be better. Meredith was an amazing host, made everything easy. Epic place, loved it.
