Take in the rustic, fairy tale vibe of this custom-made treehouse in the midst of towering white oaks. Recline in a rocking chair and watch the sunset over the mountains, or try your hand at some stargazing from the comfort of the deluxe double bed.

Please be aware there are times when heavy winds will cause the treehouse to sway/creak as it is built solely in the trees. It is engineered for this movement.

The space
Sanctuary is one of 20 unique dwellings that makes up Earth & Sky Dwellings located in north Asheville, just 10 short minutes from downtown. Sanctuary treehouse offers 2 decks, one off of the main level facing west for the ultimate sunset viewing, and one off the bedroom to enjoy the sun rising with a warm cup of coffee. The main level consists of a cozy living area, kitchenette and bathroom with conventional toilet, stoned floored shower with rain head. Upstairs you will fall asleep while gazing at the stars through 2 triangle windows high in the treehouse peak.

In the kitchen, we provide caffeinated coffee, creamers for coffee, sugar, and light snacks along with cookware, flatware, utensils, cookware, coffee cups, etc. There is not a vent for the electric cooktop located under the cabinet (there is NO stove), so we ask that you cook lightly. There is an electric grill to cook meat, etc. Ingles, Trader Joe’s Harris Teeter, and Fresh Market grocery stores are located nearby.

Along with the privacy of the treehouse, you are also welcome to hike down through the trails below the treehouse. We have seen turkeys, bears, foxes, deer, raccoons, and turtles throughout this forest....in addition, you may see a hawk or owl during your stay!
