Place was great. Clean and had everything we needed. Location is great, doorman was friendly and JoAnne was easy to work with.
Easy. Comfy. Good view. Southern light. Plenty of parking. Super friendly doorman. Walk anywhere.
Host knows her stuff.
Couldn't ask for more.
Great place! Nice and tidy, near restaurants, pharmacies and subways. Highly recommended.
I ended up having to cancel as my flight got cancelled but Jo Anne was very responsive and helpful the entire time. Next time i go to Chicago i will definitely reach out again.
I have a Brazilian friend who came to the USA to visit me and we met each other with our husbands in Chicago. We stayed in JoAnne's place, 4 of us, and it was wonderful. We had breakfast every morning in a great restaurant near the loft. Everything is near the loft and if you need to take a taxi cab, that wouldn't cost much.
The loft is bigger than I imagined and perfect for 4 people, but it can fit more if you have a mattress
I didn't meet JoAnne in person, but she was great during the process of renting the place. She replied quickly to all my questions.
If you are looking for a place in Chicago, I definitely suggest you to check this place.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Cobbler Square loft. Check in was very easy (just show your confirmation to the concierge) and checkout was even easier. I stayed there with a long time friend who now lives just out of the Chicago area and we had no problems sharing the huge king bed. We didn't do much cooking there (partly because there are so many good restaurants nearby), but we did make some oatmeal and coffee in the morning. There is a high end grocery store down the street where we picked up some beer and snacks.
It is close to the red and brown trains and we managed to get around just fine without a car.
Unfortunately, it was the wrong season for the rooftop hot tub and sun deck, but it was still fun to go up there and take some pictures.
Everything was clean, the neighbors were quiet and the location is great. I highly recommend staying here.
Location was great. Kitchen was well equipped.
Easy walk to Subway (10 minutes).
When we arrived at the appartment in the afternoon, it hadn´t been clean from the previous guests and their luggage was still there.....
Great building, ideal location in Gold Coast neighborhood. Easy walk to train, and numerous restaurants and shops.
Our stay could not have gone better, and in fact the experience exceeded our expectations. The apartment is in a great location, everything about arriving and leaving was made incredibly easy, and the unit itself is very comfortable.
My husband and I were in Chicago in this loft for 4 days in October 2013.
My husband participated in the Chicago marathon.
The apartment was okay. The rugs are dirty (stained), the bed is extremely uncomfortable. Sofa wasn't great either, not really comfy.
The surroundings are cool. Close to everything. We ate out every day and travelled only by public transportation.
Overall I found this was expensive for what we got. As far as quality/price goes, I would have preferred our stay in a hotel in this case.
