Friendly and uncomplicated host. For a fair price, we could even got our Laundry done at Suzys guesthouse, what was quite practical for us, since Swakopmund was more or less in the middle of our three weeks Namibia travel.
The appartment corresponds to the description and was just perfect for a break in Swakopmund. Town is within walking distance and we felt save in the area.
Tip: Try the grilled Lobster at Hansa restaurant, it's amazing!

Suzette’s beach apartment was delightful—easy to find, close to a supermarket, shops and restaurants, and you couldn’t be closer to the beach!
We had a wonderful time staying in Suzette and Yvonne's little flat. Facilities were great and the proximity to the beach and seaside walks is really fantastic. We even had Sandboarding on the dunes outside Swakop organised for us - what a fun adventure! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Yvonne and Suzette were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the very beginning, though we had a little problem in getting the keys.
As the apartment had a little water damage, we were immediately "upgraded" to the house beside, with the same location just in front of the beach.
The photos here are fairly accurate; however, be aware that it is a studio (not an 'apartment', as listed) and therefore on the small side. It has a lovely view of the sea. The bed is a good quality mattress. From this location it is approximately a 10-15 minute walk along the sea to the centre of town, where the majority of restaurants, cafes and shops are to be found.
Due to odd circumstances, there was no water when we arrived, but the hosts sorted this out within approx 24 hours and brought us large containers of water to use in the meantime.
Suzette was extremely friendly and warmly welcomed us. Great place just in front of the sea. Cosy and we even had the chance to make a 'brai' (barbecue!) Thanks for everything.
About the Host, Suzette
They want a description of us in this box... well I guess when you meet us you can make up your own description. Until then we will say: you arrive as a guest and hopefully you will leave as a friend.
