Teeny tiny private bedroom in a fun and funky one bedroom flat in a 100 year old Edwardian in the heart of San Francisco. Cozy quiet bedroom. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping!
Very walkable with easy access to a handful of great neighborhoods offering a plethora of restaurants and shops (Divisadero, NOPA, Laurel Heights, the Haight, Fillmore, Japantown...).
There are also four cross-town bus routes iwithin 3 blocks of our home which makes it easy to get further afield.
Full use of private bedroom, shared bathroom, garden patio, light use of the kitchen (coffee, tea, toast, microwave...) Possible use of the living room, as that will also be our studio while you are our guest!
I go the office most every day and my boyfriend works at home. We would be happy to share our favorite places with you and help you get around the city. Bike rental may be available - bikes are a great way to see the city.
Wireless internet is available.

Emily and Murphy are a quite sweet couple. Although we only got to meet them for a couple of hours before they headed out on a trip, that little time was enough to make some great small talk and to get quite a few tips about San Francisco and the neighborhood. Their cat Boo is quite peaceful and easy to take care of. Thanks for the experience, guys!
I cannot begin to explain how awesome a host Murphie and Emily has been. Not only did they welcome us as family does, he was our friend, ones who drank beer and had good time with us, one who guided us lost souls in San Francisco, and even TOOK US TO COSTCO!!! What kinda host does this? They went above and beyond what is "needed" for a host. We came to business school to study MBA, and one simple lesson I learned from Murphie and Emily was how to deliver a "top-notch customer service." Sometimes simple but powerful wisdom can be found from a host.
Murphy and Emily are such a helpful friendly couple.they let us use their bikes and gave us advice on cool things to do in San Francisco like where to eat and what to see, etc.
Cool appartement, nice cat, very good place to stay at!
Murphy and Emily are really a very nice couple. At the first week, Murphy dis a Bike tour with me around SF. It was very nice to know the city a see beautiful views. The apartment is good and clean and they have a great kitchen. I highly recommend it to anyone. It was a great period in SF.
We stayed at Murphy's apartment for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. Emily and Murphy were both very friendly, open and communicative and as soon as we arrived, they made us feel as if we arrived at a friends' house. They gave us lots of recommendations for the neighborhood. They even provided us with a map of San Francisco with good biking routes marked. Also, we could use two of Murphy's bikes for exploring San Francisco. Biking is really the best way to get around in SF.
To sum it all up, it was a great experience and we will definitely chose the same apartment to stay for our next visit in SF.
These guys are the best. We came in to ride the California coast and they were more than accommodating to us and our bikes. Highly recommend to any bike enthusiasts out there. Luckily Murphy and Emily were around and had time to show us some awesome MTB single track in the city and up at Skeggs. Your guys rock!! Look forward to our next visit.
Emily and Murphy responded quickly, offered lots of information and were very helpful with the booking.
Emily was there to greet us and had so much local information to share with us.
The apartment was perfect, a real home from home. (wish our apt was that nice though) located in the middle of everything and a great place to stay.
Everything on offer worked and was available.
Looking after the cat was a treat too, really made you feel at home.
Thanks for sharing your home, your bikes and your city.
We had an amazing time.
The house is wonderful, furnished with a great taste and everything was exactly as advertised.
Unfortunately Murphy and Emily were not there during our stay so we couldn't get to know them. On the other side, we had the whole apartment to ourself that was great.
The house is not in a shopping street but Trader Joe's is at 5 min walking and many buses connect easily with the city center in 20 mins.
Boo (the cat) was a great company, he doesn't need any special care but is always ready for some cuddles :-)
We have just leave San Francisco and we miss Murphy a lot. He was a great host. Emily and him gave us all class of facilities to make our visit the best. They lend us their bikes, gave us advices about the city, places to visit etc. Thank you
Emily and Murphy were very welcoming. They made our stay really unforgettable. They lend us their bikes and a map with things to do and see in the city. They even invited us in a party with their friends!
Really a good place to stay, nice and neat, with a big pot of coffee always waiting for you in the morning !
