I tried extending my stay with Cecile after 3 nights because of comfort, character, beauty and tea time! I highly recommend staying in Cecile's house when visiting Marrakech!! I know whenever I am back, there is always a place where I can feel at home!! Truly and amazing circle of family and friends!!! Do not hesitate to stay here when making your decision!!! A++++

Cecile's place is AMAZING hands down! I loved how at-home I felt there and how welcomed by Cecile and her friends. I stayed there for about a week and a half (with 3 of those days spent on a trip to the Sahara) and Cecile was nice enough to block out those dates for me. The room was small but perfect for a solo traveler - it had just enough room for my things. There's a window and a fan in the room - much needed due to the hot weather in Marrakech, even at night! Remember to bring light sleeping clothes :) The living room and kitchen were BEAUTIFUL. I loved the decorations - I felt they made the place more homey. It's not SUPER fancy like a riad by any means but I think that's the charm of the place. Everything in a riad is so beautiful, you're literally afraid to touch or break anything. I felt so at home at Cecile's place which was great for a solo traveler since this can be hard to find abroad. I also got to meet amazing friends who were also staying there as well as Cecile's neighbor Haja (? spelling) who was just the sweetest! Cecile was very helpful guiding me around town one of the days and I loved tea time everyday! It was a highlight of the trip! And last of all my praises, Cecile's place is very well-located. Just 10 mins walk from Bahia palace and 15 mins away from the night market as well as other sights. Everything is a very doable walking distance away - and this is coming from a girl who uses her car everyday! Overall, I really recommend the place. You will not regret it - I promise! :D

This is how I describe my stay here... I DONT WANT TO LEAVE! Cecile is not a host, she is family, like a mother or a sister that welcome you home, maybe a Riad will give you a more fancy stay, but what Cecile gives every guest has not price! And the place is beautiful, chic and close to everything! I wish I could give her a million starts!!!

Cécile's place is perfect for lone travelers, friends and couples. Cécile and her friends are more than accommodating. Hamza took me my first day around the square, to the bank, the market, the bakery and the shops. Location is ideal. Cécile is always more than willing to suggest excursion ideas, travel plans, local places in Marrakech to visit. As a you f woman who traveled to Morocco alone, I consider myself lucky to have stayed here. Highly recommend.

Very nice spot tucked inside the media. Cécile was a very nice host and gave me good recommendations on where to go and what to eat. Tea time is also nice as you get to interact with other travelers also staying at her place. If I ever visit Marrakech again I will definitely stay here.

This was my first time using airbnb, and I simply couldn't have chosen a better. Cecile was friendly, helpful, and simply a delight to be around. She helped me is so many ways, setting up taxis, excursions, recommendations to food places, and the list goes on and on. She was more than a host, she was more like my personal agent . I had so many questions, and she was always so gracious to help with anything. I cannot thank Cecile enough for all the help she provided during my stay, Merci Cecile!
