Eine modern eingerichtete Ferienwohnung die von der Lage her nicht günstiger gelegen sein kann. Ruhig gelegen in einer Seitenstraße und dennoch in wenigen Minuten mitten im römischen Geschehen. Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona liegen in direkter Nähe!
Dear fellow airbnb members, this is definatley one place we would recommend if you are going to Rome! We are a family of 5 and found this apartment to be extremely comfortable, clean and within walking distance to any sight in Rome you would want to see. Airy bright, and very quiet. Brilliant spot!
Only 3 small complaints, 1- pillows weren't very good, 2- couldn't quite work out hot water system(there were 5 of us) 3- no hand soap at the taps, the first thing you want to do after 22 hours of traveling is to wash your hands with soap!
Thanks to Federico, (though we never met you) and thanks to Diego who did show us around the place.
Just perfect !
The apartment could not be better located ; a few meters walking from Campo di Fiori and Largo Argentina, a few minutes from Trastevere and Piazza Navona. San Piedro is about 10 minutes by bus and the forum 20 minutes walking.
We had visited Rome several times but this apartment was by far the best one in terms of location, standing and price.
The apartment in itself is clean, spacious, in a very nice building and a quiet area. Ideal for 4 to 6 people.
Great location in the center of Rome. Easy walking distance to all the main sites. Comfortably slept 5 guys over for the weekend.
Host arranged airport pick up too for small extra charge dropping us straight to the door.
My family (wife and children aged 17 and 20) spent the Christmas / New Years holiday in Rome. I wanted a place that would be spacious enough for all of us, comfortable, and convenient. This apartment was perfect for us. The location is ideal - easy walking distance to all main attractions, lots of restaurants and shops, etc., while still being very quiet and feeling secure. Was everything flawless? Certainly not. But if fastidiousness were our most important requirement we would have gone to Germany. We expected instead that the overall picture would be beautiful, and it was. Of course, it is people who make it so, and in this case our thanks go to Federico, Carolina and Jasmin, all of whom were kind, extremely responsive, and easy. They provided my family a comfortable home in a magical place, and for that I am most grateful.
We had a fantastic five days in this very comfortable apartment. I had not realised what a difference a great location makes but Federico's apartment is wonderfully situated and made our stay perfect. Everything that you could want is literally within a stones throw yet the apartment is quiet. We are a family of six and we were cosy but not crowded. It was December and the place has great heating. Our only very minor grumble is that the kitchen equipment was a little sparse, but not a problem if you are eating out.
Thanks Federico's for a great stay
Really well located apartment in the center of Rome at walking distance of all the main attractions. Good building, secure and very nice and clean apartment. There is a supermarket in the same street almost door to door which is so convinient. Diego was really nice and even gave us a map of rome and pointed to a couple of good places for food, check Pizza Florida at Argentina Square just besides the apartment.
The only "buts" are that the light swicht are crazy, yo can turn on and off the lights of the rooms from the swicht in the entrance and the other "but" is that there is none shampoo nor gel but I asked Federico in advance and he told us so no big deal with this one.
Don't hesitate to book this apartment you will enjoy for sure it although I will recommend for a max of 4 persons.
This was our first visit to Rome and had a wonderful time. The apartment was very central for all that we had planned and was easy enough to grab a taxi if our feet were too tired at the end of the day! For a family of 5, there was plenty of room, but a second restroom would have made it perfect (my mistake for missing that detail.) Federico was a very kind host and we recommend this apartment for a couple or small quiet group!
Upon our arrival, we contact a friend / colleague of Frédérico who quickly gives us access to the apartment. The latter is spacious and excellently situated well in the historic district of Rome. it is near the major tourist places. On inner courtyard, it is protected from the noises of the street. The building has a guard. The structure was made by an architect (marble and wood on the ground, beautiful ceiling with integrated spotlights, immense well-made dressing room). The apartment is rather charming. The negative points turn around an insufficient investment in the furniture (the mattresses of beds are not good quality, the boiler is 80 liters and does not allow to fill bathtub jaccuzzi, The dishes IKEA is little founie, the oven did not work, absence of railing(bar) bread etc.). In spite of these negative points we had an excellent stay and we felt very well in this apartment. I recommend it to the Internet users.
The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a great central location. We felt like we were close to everything we wanted to see. Federico met us and showed us around the apartment. Also, with multiple gates to the front door and a security guard, we felt very safe.
The negatives were:
- the fuse box would overload if you ran the airconditioining and the hot water heater (boiler) at the same time.
- even with the boiler off, it was hard to cool the apartment because the portable cooling units had to be vented out of partially open windows
- we were provided with only one partial roll of toilet paper for a 7 day stay and no soap, shampoo, etc. There was no soap at any kitchen or bathroom sinks. Other airbnb's we've stayed in provided the basics of these.
- the matresses were foam and very thin and pillows were 1/2 inch thick. In general, the bedding was not very comfortable.
- the apartment windows opened to a reverberating courtyard so conversations by neighbors could be heard from any room although we undertstand that is part of living in Europe. We did enjoy seeing the children come home from school, etc, but when the neighbors woke up at 7 or 8, everybody woke up.
In spite of the negatives, we enjoyed the stay at this apartment and would recommend it. It is unusual fo find a beautiful spacious apartment like this in the heart of Rome.
