Newly refurbished suite in a corner rowhouse in the heart of an iconic DC neighborhood. Enjoy plenty of privacy and natural light. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, monuments and metro.
Located on the third floor of a brick row house in the iconic DC style, the apartment overlooks bustling Washington Circle from its own turret with window seating. The studio is a corner unit and faces south--this means plenty of light throughout the day. The fully furnished unit also features hardwood flooring, elegant finishes, and a full-size bed. It has its own bathroom, mini fridge and a microwave, but does not not have a full kitchen.
Guests have full access to the unit including WiFi, Cable TV, and a small work space.
Interaction with Guests
I do not live at the listing. The apartment is in a multi-unit building and has a keyless entry system. This studio is used exclusively for Airbnb guests—this means you can come and go as you please. It also means that we likely won't meet face-to-face.
Of course, I am always available via text, email, and phone and live in the area so can get to the unit quickly should the need ever arise.
Situated in DC’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood, the studio is within (extremely!) short walking distance of the World Bank, the IMF and the heart of George Washington University’s campus. Foggy Bottom is home to dozens of restaurants, a world-class hospital, and a Whole Foods supermarket. The Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall, and Georgetown’s historic shopping district are all a short walk away.
Whether your visit is for an extended business stay or a weekend get-away, this location can’t be beat.

Very very nice room. Clean and comfortable. Plus the passionate host, everything is perfect! I'd like to live here again when I visit Washington DC next time.
Fantastic place and location. Exactly as described. I try to stay here anytime I am in DC for business! Darob is a great, attentive host.
What you see in the picture is what you get, + bath.
I like it. Simple.
Generally speaking, this is the place that cannot be beaten according to convenience. We can walk to the metro station easily and there is a wholefood nearby. It is a lovely suit perfectly for two people. Darob replied message quickly and he showed efforts to help us solving the problem. He also kindly let us to leave our luggage in the room until afternoon the day when we checked out as we have a late night flight.
However, the lock box that keeps the keys is so tricky to open. You have to shake it really hard and push the open button with strength. We struggled both time when we tried to checkin and checkout. I highly suggest that the lock box should be changed or at least renovated. And if unfortunately not, maybe you should save 10 minutes in advance to deal with it.
The other problem we faced during our stay was the heat. I m not sure does the system set a limit to keep temperature around 68F at night and even lower during the day. But as the temperature outside was under 20F when we stayed there, the room temperature dropped to 64F during the night and there was simply nothing blowing out the venter. Darob gave us several suggestions and sent a techinician to check for both days but it didn't seem to work until we left. So if you try to stay there in a cold winter like us, you might take that into consideration.
Thanks for the review Shaoyue. I believe the problem with the lockbox was due to ice. We have replaced the lockbox and are changing the front stoop to make for a weather proof entrance way. We have also upgraded repaired the heating system as well as added a backup system in case of extremely cold weather.
Perfect location! Walking distance to the Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, White House, etc. The apartment was in a cute building and felt homey.
My stay at this property was, overall, a pleasant one. The property is as described, clean, and comfortable. The location is simply superb, and really is steps away from transit, the Kennedy Center, Dupont Circle, and other interesting places.
I would caution travelers to consider their tolerance to city noise - while I'm an urban dweller and don't mind noise at all, the hospital next door and the proximity to GWU does make for quite a bit of street noise late into the night.
I had one issue with the property while I was staying there - the heat was only somewhat functional and wasn't able to heat the room to room temperature. Darob's team was quite responsive during my stay and made every effort to fix it, although it was ultimately not fixed by the time I left. I'm pretty happy with the effort they made, and thought it was extremely professional and courteous. If only my landlord were that responsive! :)
Again - overall, I felt like this was a great value and I enjoyed my time here. Would stay here again!
Lovely place, great location. I didn't get to meet Darob, but communication was easy and check-in/out couldn't have been simpler.

I’m a DC native, so look no further for restaurant and adventure tips! In my free time, I love exploring DC and its surrounding areas by bike (while also sniffing out the city’s best milkshakes). When I’m not in the city, I love to go rock climbing and winter camping.
I manage a few properties on Airbnb with some colleagues. Collectively, we’re natively fluent in German and English, as well as decently fluent in French and Dutch (we’re working on our Spanish). I will be completely available to you (via text, email, phone) during your stay. Welcome to DC!
