The space

The SHARKTANK invites you to visit us in southern Arizona! By the day or the month, a room or the house! La Casa is in Sierra Vista and sits on 2+ acres, easy parking and room for an RV, too. Rooms include wifi, HDTV; W/D available for small fee. Can do breakfast if you desire! We want to share our smoke-free Santa Fe home with you.

SIerra Vista is in sunny SE Arizona in the high desert with gorgeous mountain views. Near Tombstone, Bisbee and Karchner Caverns. Lots to do in Cochise County. July brings our Monsoons and has awesome thunder and lightening storms to enjoy from the patios. Property is somewhat secluded and Naturist friendly, discrete.

Two separate rooms/prices available (separate cost per room but discounted together) with private baths, max 4 people and no extra charge for up to 2 people per room. We want to meet fellow sailboaters, too. Driving to your boat or rental in Mexico? We're on the way! Want to explore Cochise County? We're in the heart of it.!

Hasta Temprano, amigos!

Guest access

Our home is yours. We like to be available for our guests to answer questions. Breakfast on request but always have coffee/tea. The hot tub stays warm and the patios welcoming in season. Each guest room has a TV.

Interaction with guests

As locals with AZ history we have some knowledge of the area if asked. Otherwise, we respect your privacy, peace and quiet.

The neighborhood

Cochise County is a lovely spot to visit year round! We do have many Snowbirds - and they are welcome. Sierra Vista is a nice community and have all the usual amenities, shops and so on.

Getting around

Car is needed to get around. Bikes for local exercise might be available.

Other things to note

see house rules below. Our guest rooms are split so having small children in the second room is not advised.

House Rules
House Rules

NOTE: The two guest rooms are split and additional cost for the queen bed room. Includes no smoking, quiet hours 10 PM to 7 AM. Pets must be well behaved and house-broken.
The rooms(two available) are separated with the larger guest room having two outside entry doors and secluded parking. Would be ideal for two couples or a "mother-in-law" as the larger guest room has a king bed, the smaller room has a queen bed. We especially welcome fellow sailors/cruisers. There is also an RV pad for safe parking but also with full hook-ups. Sorry we are away for much of the winter sailing January to June. Future "winter" negotiations can be made for winter stays - a discount with some minor house chores. Background checks and references a must.

Linda & Bill

One pirate and one boat wench are we, spending half the year on our sailboat in Mexico traveling the Sea of Cortez. We are also native "'Zonies"; and enjoy our high desert home in Sierra Vista when we aren't cruising. We are both retired military; Bill is a Marine Tanker and Linda, an Army Nurse. We are dedicated Parrot Heads, enjoy an "island" lifestyle and a good, dark beer. We are non-smokers.Bill is a Redskins fan; Dallas Cowboy fans might find themselves in the brig. Our private home on 2+ acres has two rooms, two baths split so can sleep 2 or 4. **()****
