(Please note that this apt is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.
Also, a temporary issue: the RESIN coating of the bathroom walls and floor and of the kitchen floor in some spots is peeling off, has some cracks and chemical structure age stains. So even though immaculately clean is not pleasant to look at. It will be replaced in a few months as soon as I manage to acquire the adjacent room.)
I rent this lovely apartment, in a typical milanese 19th century building, that I use only few days a week for myself. It is fully equipped, and very well and carefully kept and looked after.
I lived abroad extensively and am often away, and I truly take pleasure in thinking that other people are enjoying its warmth, light, quietness, charm, airy coziness.
The apartment is located in the center, 15' on foot south from Duomo square, in a very lively and friendly area (Ticinese, half way between Duomo, 15' on foot, and the Navigli area, 5' on foot), full of small cafés, restaurants, little shops.
It overlooks the beautiful public garden of Conca del Naviglio, which has a fenced children area, with swings slides etc, and a dog fenced area; and you can also rent municipal bycicles there.
The overall setting and location of the apartment, even though in the heart of the city, makes you somehow feel on vacation.
For those of you who have a CAR:
- there is a private GARAGE 150 meters from the building, 24hrs custody, they charge 25/30 euros per day depending on car size.
- the apartment is located inside the limited traffic area. For further info see Area C Milano site.
Groups larger than 5 could be interested in the fact that the apartment is located a few steps from my brother-in-law's "Brand New Central Coziness" https://www.airbnb.it/rooms/3519937 (sleeps 5).
Home is fully equipped and guests are very welcome to use everything, I just ask that if they finish up something they replace it.
Interaction with guests
I will always be available on my mobile phone.

Easy going, many friends, independent, lived abroad, always loved having guests and making them comfortable, love reading, cooking, networking, sharing, walking, working, the seaside. Mentally dynamic, I dislike hectic pace. I have always worked in the publishing and cultural sector.
In the past yrs I’ve been very active in the hosts’ community. This entailed managing, following Airbnb’s request, Milan Hosts’ social forum for its entire existence; teaching two seminars at Airbnb headquarters in San Francisco during the first AirbnbOpen - annual worldwide convention - in 2014; participating with other eight European leading hosts in the Dublin HQ in the launch of the new site in 2014; moderating the Q&A session with the three founders in Paris at 2015 Open; hosting one of the three founders, etc. I have been an Airbnb evangelist both privately and in press and tv interviews etc. In short: I love hosting, and am also intellectually passionate about the Airbnb phenomenon, that I find most interesting under very many extents!
