  • Fantastic! Robbie was very friendly and helpful! We loved the place and would definitely stay there again!

  • Le Gilford was really a home away from home, with stocked fridge, tasteful and cozy accommodation, on a very quiet courtyard, in a lovely neighborhood. Sylvie was a charming hostess who provided us with all the information we needed. We also enjoyed an afternoon visit from her cat Houdini. We will certainly go back in the summer to enjoy the patio.

  • I arrived in Montreal from Paris at the tail end of hurricane Sandy and the weather was atrocious - windy, cold and raining. Luckily, there was an umbrella in the suite which I used as I trudged through the streets of the Plateau battling wind and rain. I bought food from various different places (there's a huge selection of shops nearby) and what a relief it was to return to the cozy studio which was warm and welcoming. The bed has silky sheets and was very comfortable. I appreciated the beverages in the fridge and the delicious coffee and coffee-maker. Because of the bad weather I was unable to appreciate the little garden area in front but will return during a warmer season to do so.

  • We had a great stay at Sylvie and Robbie's who were great hosts..
The room was very well equipped and had everything you couldt want.. We werent there long enough to use the kitchenette but it would be handy if we had stayed longer.
Bed was comfortable. Parking on street. Great restaurant next door. Can recommend the fondue. Thanks for the recommendation Robbie.
We enjoyed a drink and 'ffacetime' on the balcony with our family.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the patio suite. Robbie was very kind and gracious, and everything was extremely clean and fresh. There was even some bottled water, orange juice and a few beer in the fridge for our arrival. Great place to stay!

  • Lovely little studio in a great location. It had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway to Montreal, and next time we come to Montreal we hope this place will be available.

  • We had a brief, one night, but very pleasant stay. Great quiet spot off a back alley. Good coffee! Hosts were helpful.

    Response from Sylvie & Robbie:

Argenta was so gracious and friendly during the visit to Le Gilford. The studio was left in a very tidy condition. We would have not hesitation in welcoming her back to Montreal.
